How to Make Your Own Race Riot

By On May 31, 2020
The angry rioter is a sacred figure in the progressive pantheon of social justice. But the saint of the looted convenience store is as mythical a figure as the selfless community organizer. The race riot isn’t a bubbling stew of outrage out of which wounded souls emerge to cry out for justice. It’s a complicated criminal conspiracy in which the perpetrators rarely suffer any consequences.

Here’s how a race riot is actually put together.

3. Riots aren’t fed by outrage, but by opportunism

The rioters aren’t outraged, they’re usually bored young men, frustrated and lacking in empathy. Many of them have gang ties or a criminal record stretching back to kindergarten.

They’re the same people who commit crimes in any other non-outraged context.

The rest are there to get some attention while providing them with protective coloration. 9 out of 10 people screaming frenziedly while holding up “Black Lives Matter” signs would eagerly scream and hold up “Tiger King 4 President” or “Minneapolis Loves the KKK” signs if it got them positive attention and a shot at being on television.

Everything else you need to do know about why riots happen out can be read on a thermometer. Weather breaks up a riot faster than appeasement. It’s hard to riot when your teeth are chattering. There’s a reason that riots usually happen in the summer. The same viral video that sets a nation on fire would have been met with shrugs in the winter.

The riots didn’t happen because of outrage, but because the gathering mobs were told by everyone from CNN right up to their local Democrat politicians that angry protests were expected and would be tolerated. That was as good as throwing a match into a spreading pool of gasoline.

No one was stealing beauty supplies or starting fires in Walgreens because they were upset about George Floyd They were stealing because they believed that they could get away with it.

2. The rioters and looters aren’t burning their own community

A riot has two components. There are the bored and irritated locals who begin swarming streets because they have no jobs, it’s hot outside and there’s nothing good on television. They will loosely agree with whatever issue is on the table, but they aren’t all that worked up about it.

And then there are the outsiders.

Before the riot, community organizers, citizen reporters and assorted activists show up to coordinate, spread slogans and justify the coming violence. They want violence far more than the locals do and they taunt police and try to create incidents, but they ofte avoid personally engaging in violence.

(In the early twentieth century the group stirring up riots was usually some arm of the Communist Party. Later a variety of leftist groups, like Antifa, many closely entangled with the Democratic Party took over. Most of the damage is done by looters and rioters from other areas looking for an opportunity to burn and steal. Some locals will tag after them, but they are usually responsible for the worst of the violence. Some of the looters are from out of state, others from different neighborhoods.

Being outsiders they’re unknown to the police and rarely have to worry about being identified afterwards. And they don’t care about burning down someone else’s community.

The media usually sticks to its narrative of an outraged community that engages in excesses, especially when it can’t tell apart the locals from the outsiders. Local cops can, but no one in the media listens to them. Arrest records ofte show that most of those charged in the more violent crimes aren’t locals, but the media remains immune to facts that conflict with a favorite narrative.

1. Riots are about power, not for the rioters, but for the establishment

"We must not reprimand our children for outrage when it is the outrage that was put in them by an oppressive system," Al Sharpton had said, in the aftermath of the murder of a Jewish student by an angry black mob.

This same rhetoric was used by the inciters of the violence around the country and has been used in similar riots going back generations. Its major theme is that the rioters are free to do whatever they want. They carry no moral responsibility for their actions.

And what they want is to smash and steal anything they can get their hands on. This isn’t outrage. It’s textbook amoral behavior. The riot doesn’t release anger; it frees the perpetrators of their morality.

The real purpose of a riot isn’t to benefit the rioters. It’s to benefit those who incite the riot. The rioters and looters react in response to riot-friendly conditions created from above. If you build the political infrastructure for a riot, the rioters and looters will come.

Sharpton’s riots weren’t about helping anyone except himself. By associating himself with violence, he sold the idea that he was an influential figure in the black community. Whether or not Sharpton was actually popular, his rise to the top of the political establishment became a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Riots are about perception, not reality. The ringleader tries to keep his hands clean while convincing the establishment that he can turn the violence on or off any time he wants to.

The last decade of riots are the product of a new generation of Sharptons, ambitious activists feeding hate, of the New Black Panther Party’s obsession with becoming relevant, of the ragged hipster ends of Occupy Wall Street drifting from occupation to occupation, of radical white lefties and groups like Black Lives Matter that exist to suck up funding and sympathy from their white lefty allies.

It’s an old and cynical game that has been played in and around the Democratic Party for too long.

The answers to the rioting can’t be found in its streets. The problem didn’t come from there. It came from a corrupt political establishment that lights the fuse for its own power and profit.

Anger Privilege

By On May 31, 2020
If you want to know who has privilege in a society and who doesn’t, follow the anger.

There are people in this country who can safely express their anger. And those who can’t. If you’re
angry that Trump won, your anger is socially acceptable. If you were angry that Obama won, it wasn’t. If you’re black and angry about the police, your anger is celebrated. If you’re white and angry about , or any leftist cause, you’re on the side of the angry angels.

But if you’re angry that your job is going to China or that you just missed being killed in a Muslim suicide bombing, your anger is unacceptable.

Not all anger is created equal. Some anger is privileged rage.

If you hang up an effigy of a Democrat governor while protesting the lockdowns, you will lose your job. But if you topple statues, loot stores, or throw bricks at police, celebrities funded by corporations will help bail you out. Violence, like anger, is also a matter of privilege. Only some get to do it.

Public acts of violence are not a symptom of oppression, but of privilege.

Good anger gets you a gig as a CNN commentator. Bad anger gets you hounded out of your job. Good anger isn’t described as anger at all. Instead it’s linguistically whitewashed as “passionate” or “courageous”. Bad anger however is “worrying” or “dangerous”. Angry left-wing protesters “call out”, angry right-wing protesters “threaten”. Good anger is left-wing. Bad anger is right-wing.

Socially acceptable displays of anger, from Occupy Wall Street to Black Lives Matter riots to the anti-Trump marches to the furious campus protests, are invariably left-wing. They're never described as dangerous even when they trash, loot, kill, and burn cities to the ground. That's privilege.

Why were chants of “Lock her up” immoderate, but not Bush era cries of “Jail to the chief”? Why were Tea Party rallies “ominous” but throwing Molotov cocktails at cops is “courageous”? Why is killing Trump on stage the hottest thing to hit Shakespeare while a rodeo clown who wore an Obama mask was hounded by everyone from the Lieutenant Governor of Missouri to the NAACP?

Not all anger is equal. Anger, like everything else, is ideologically coded. Left-wing anger is good because its ideological foundations are good. Right-wing anger is bad because its ideology is bad.

It’s not the level of anger, its intensity or its threatening nature that makes it good or bad.

And that is why the left so easily slips into violence. All its ideological ends are good. Therefore its means, from mass starvation to gulags to riots and tyranny, must be good. If I slash your tires because of your Obama bumper sticker”, I’m a monster. But if you key my car because of my Trump bumper sticker, you’re fighting racism and fascism. Your tactics might be in error, but your viewpoint isn’t.

There are no universal standards of behavior. Civility, like everything else, is ideologically limited.

Intersectionality frowns on expecting civil behavior from “oppressed” protesters. Asking that shrieking campus crybully not to scream threats in your face is “tone policing”. A black millionaire’s child at Yale is fighting for her “existence”, unlike the Pennsylvania coal miner, the Baltimore police officer and the Christian florist whose existences really are threatened.

Tone policing is how the anger of privileged leftists is protected while the frustration of their victims is suppressed. The existence of tone policing as a specific term to protect displays of left-wing anger shows the collapse of civility into anger privilege. Civility has been replaced by a political entitlement to anger.

The left prides itself on an unearned moral superiority (“When they go low, we go high”) reinforced by its own echo chamber even as it has become incapable of controlling its angry outbursts. The national tantrum after Trump’s victory has all but shut down the government, turned every media outlet into a non-stop feed of conspiracy theories and set off protests that quickly escalated into street violence.

But Trump Derangement Syndrome is a symptom of a problem with the left that existed before he was born and one that continues even in contexts where he isn't the issue. The left is an angry movement. It is animated by an outraged self-righteousness whose moral superiority doubles as dehumanization. And its machinery of culture glamorizes its anger. The media dresses up the seething rage so that the left never has to look at its demons in the mirror of its soul.

The left is as angry as ever. Campus riots and assassinations of Republican politicians are nothing new. What is changing is that its opponents are beginning to match its anger. The left still clings to the same anger it had when it was a theoretical movement with plans, but little impact on the country. The outrage at the left is no longer ideological. There are millions of people whose livelihoods were ruined, whose rights were taken away, whose land was seized, and whose children were turned against them. There are people whose small businesses have been shut down or burned to the ground.

The angry left has gained a great deal of power. It has used that power to wreck lives. But monopolies on anger only work in totalitarian states. In a free society, both sides are expected to control their anger and find terms on which to debate and settle issues. The left rejects civility and refuses to control its anger. The only settlement it will accept is absolute power. If an election doesn’t go its way, it will overturn the results. If someone offends it, he must be punished. Or there will be anger.

The angry left demands that everyone recognize the absolute righteousness of its anger as the basis for its power. This anger privilege, like tone policing, is often cast in terms of oppressed groups. But its anger isn’t in defiance of oppression, but in pursuit of oppression.

Anger privilege is used to silence opposition, to enforce illegal policies and to seize power. But the left’s monopolies on anger are cultural, not political. The entertainment industry and the media can enforce anger privilege norms through public shaming, but their smears can’t stop the consequences of the collapse of civility in public life. There are no monopolies on emotion.

When anger becomes the basis for political power, then it won’t stop with Howard Dean or Bernie Sanders. That’s what the left found out in the last election. Its phony pearl clutching was a reaction to the consequences of its destruction of civility. Its reaction to that show of anger by conservatives and independents was to escalate the conflict. Instead of being the opposition, the left became the “resistance”. Trump was simultaneously Hitler and a traitor. Republicans were evil beasts.

Anger has to go somewhere.

The left likes to think that its anger is good anger because it’s angry over the plight of illegal aliens, Muslim terrorists, transgender bathrooms, the lack of abortion in South Carolina, the minimum wage at Taco Bell, budget cuts, tax cuts, police arrests, drone strikes and all the other ways in which reality differs from its utopia. But all that anger isn’t the road to a better world, but to hate and violence.

Millions of leftists are told every day that Republicans are responsible for everything wrong with their lives, the country and the planet. Despite everything they do, all the petitions they sign, the marches they attend, the donations, the angry letters, the social media rants, Republicans continue to exist and even be elected to public office. Where does that anger go?

Either we have a political system based on existing laws and norms of civility. Or we have one based on coups and populist leftist anger. And there are already a whole bunch of those south of the border.

Leftist anger is a privileged bubble of entitlement that bursts every other election. Its choice is to try to understand the rest of the country or to intimidate, censor, oppress and eventually kill them.

The Media Wants America to Stay Closed Forever

By On May 28, 2020
CNN doubled its audience in April, while MSNBC hit its best total-day ratings. Network news programs rose 39% since last year, gaining over 8 million viewers for their best numbers in over a decade. Cable news networks have become the most watched channels on cable and network news has been beating prime time programming. The pandemic is the next best thing to Walter Cronkite rising from the dead.

The New York Times is up to 6 million subscribers with an increase of 587,000 digital subscriptions that it attributes to "widespread interest in news of the coronavirus pandemic". Last year the paper was struggling to make it to 5 million subscribers. Digital subscriptions are up across the industry. Digital subscriptions rose 29% at the Dallas Morning News, 17% at the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, and the Poynter-FactCheck's Tampa Bay Times boasted of tripling the rate of digital subscriptions.

(That didn’t stop the Tampa Bay Times from getting an SBA loan at the expense of small businesses.)

With 87% of Americans saying that they’re closely following news of the coronavirus pandemic, while many of them are trapped indoors, the media is experiencing an unprecedented boom. And with millions of kids out of school, it’s even begun launching new ventures to exploit the pandemic like NBC News' coronavirus newscast for kids. It’s a terrible time for Americans, but a great one for the media.

The only thing that could rain on the media’s pandemic parade would be the country reopening.

A Captive Audience

Right now, the media has the American public right where it wants it, trapped indoors, and closely following whatever combination of reporting, propaganda, and lies it chooses to feed to them.

And the polls show that it’s working.

Most of the country is afraid. A not insignificant percentage of the electorate is convinced that it will die if its cohort leaves the house without a mask, and would like to keep receiving government checks forever. Media hysteria not only trashed the economy, but sold millions on the socialist lifestyle.

After the Russia hoax, a botched impeachment, and more hit pieces than even historians will be able to count, the media is achieving its grand ideological goal of endangering President Trump’s reelection.

All the media had to do was scare the public within an inch of its life into crawling under the bed.

To quote the nation's first Republican president, "you may fool people for a time; you can fool a part of the people all the time; but you can’t fool all the people all the time.” That’s always been the problem with the media’s business model. It has a core audience that it can fool all the time. But it can’t have any real power unless it reaches beyond the urbanites and suburbanites concentrated in a few blue areas.

As the warmer weather swept in, social distancing began to collapse, accelerating reopenings in red states, and putting pressure on blue states to step up. Even New York and California have been forced to move up their timetables while struggling with the crowds headed to the beach or socializing in parks.

Every state has now moved toward lifting their lockdowns to one degree or another.

And the people aren’t waiting for the politicians to act. The median distance people have been traveling, based on cell phone data, doubled from half a mile to a mile. The shutdown is being shut down.

Now it’s the media’s turn to be afraid.

The Atlantic condemned Governor Brian Kemp’s decision to reopen Georgia as an "experiment in human sacrifice". But, Coronavirus cases have dropped 20% since the reopening. So, the media has doubled down on its false claims by spinning conspiracy theories about the Georgia and Florida numbers.

After a Florida state employee who had been inputting numbers into the state’s virus dashboard was fired, the media insisted that she had been silenced for refusing to cover up the “real” numbers. The media neglected to mention that she had been arrested for cyber-stalking and revenge porn.

It has since moved on to suggesting a cover-up at the CDC.

In a matter of weeks, the media has gone from urging evidence-based policymaking that follows the numbers, to telling its viewers, listeners, and readers to ignore the numbers because it’s a conspiracy.

They’re out to get you… out of the house. And away from your TV.

CNN has taken the lead in spinning conspiracies about Georgia, Florida, and the CDC, while failing to disclose to its viewers and readers that it has a major vested interest in maintaining the lockdown.

Politicians have wrongly deemed the media to be non-essential. That means that CNN can remain in business while calling for lockdowns of countless small businesses and forced unemployment for millions even as its ratings soar because all the people it put out of work are at home watching TV.

Beyond the ideological conflict of interest, CNN has a huge economic conflict of interest.

So does the rest of the media. The lockdowns are a form of economic discrimination that structurally benefits the media, freeing it to produce original programming while most television and film production has been shut down. Now the nerds at the news desk are able to beat everything else. All they had to do was make sure that not a single professional sports league was still playing in the USA.

If only they’d thought of that back when they were working on the high school paper.

And yet, at no point in time, has the media bothered explaining this simple fact to its viewers.

The media is resisting any effort to lift the lockdowns because the closure rules don’t apply to it. They never did. CNN was able to keep its staff working even while the pandemic was ravaging New York City. While viewers saw that top anchors were working from home, that was as much of an illusion as Chris Cuomo’s quarantine. The anchors stayed home, but much of the rank and file workforce did not.

Another way of looking at the lockdowns is that they act as media rent-seeking programs, providing a lifeline to a struggling industry by shutting down its rivals and creating a captive audience.

The media wants America to stay closed forever. And if it were up to it, that’s what would happen.

The New York Times, CNN, MSNBC, and the rest of the corrupt media cartel have nothing to gain from the country reopening and everything to lose. And the cartel is corruptly influencing public policy with propaganda, with disinformation, and with conspiracy theories in order to serve its own interests.

The pandemic has been a disaster for America and a huge gift for the media’s fear-based programming.

Americans look out at a country that they no longer recognize. They see a place where the Bill of Rights doesn’t apply, where neighbors and loved ones have been indoctrinated by the media to fear each other, and where the recent economic boom seems like a distant memory. But the media sees a vast captive audience and it has no intention of releasing its #StayAtHome captives without a fight.

Every media article, segment, and story against the lockdown is nothing more than digital slave owners fighting to keep its captive audience on the plantation. The reopenings are a liberation, not only allowing people to go back to work, to school, and to reunite with their loved ones, but freeing millions of people hiding indoors, in thrall to the media’s fear campaign, and releasing them into the light.

Dems Blame Trump for Anti-Asian Hate Crimes by Minorities

By On May 26, 2020
The video shows an Asian woman running through a subway station in Chinatown before being ambushed by a young black man who begins punching and kicking her.

Now Senate Democrats have cited the incident in Senate Resolution 580 which condemns the terms “Wuhan Virus” and “Chinese Virus”, that correctly describe the origin of the pandemic, as likely to lead to “Asian Americans being harassed, assaulted, and scapegoated.”

While the resolution is clearly aimed at President Trump, who has insisted on describing the virus as the “Chinese Virus”, and at conservatives who have resisted the WHO’s efforts to obscure the origins of the outbreak in the People’s Republic of China, a survey of the anti-Asian attacks, including those cited by Democrats, tells a different story.

The resolution describes the subway attack as part of the “incidents of anti-Asian violence occurring in March 2020… a woman wearing a mask was kicked and punched at a New York City subway station.”

The attack actually happened in February. The woman seems to have been wearing a scarf, not a mask. She’s also wearing a parka with a fur-trimmed hood suggesting winter attire, not coronavirus protection. Her attacker on the video makes no mention of the coronavirus, that comes from an unverified claim on Twitter. The attack appears to be the sort of random violence that happens far too often in New York.

And the African-American man who assaulted her was probably not a Trump supporter.

The Senate Democrat resolution goes on to mention that, "2 children and 2 adults were stabbed at a wholesale grocery in Midland, Texas."

Jose L. Gomez III, the perpetrator, was stopped by an off-duty Border Patrol Agent. That’s the organization targeted by some of the Senate Democrats who signed on to S. Res. 580, especially Senator Elizabeth Warren. Bernie Ramirez, a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School, an ex-Marine, and Border Patrol Agent, who prevented Gomez from killing anybody, is everything that Democrats oppose.

Gomez did claim that he went on the stabbing spree because he thought the Chinese family was spreading the virus. And then he began punching guards in prison. He’s probably not a Trump supporter.

"A couple was assaulted and robbed by a group of attackers in Philadelphia," the Senate Democrat resolution continues. The Twitter user who had posted the original video, before his account was suspended, described it as, “Asian kids were stomped and punched by a herd of black kids, this is so disturbing the amount of Racial violence we have to endure is so heartbreaking. This happened in a subway in Philadelphia. Don’t look away, this is the reality for us in Western countries.”

It's an ugly scene, but unclear that it has anything to do with the coronavirus. Like the first video, it just seems to be the pervasive reality in some urban areas. It was happening often enough before the virus.

Democrats have empowered criminals, handcuffed law enforcement, and fought to prevent the prosecution of thugs who carry out violent attacks like the ones that take place in these videos. Democrats can’t push pro-crime agendas like giving 17-year-olds a pass for violent attacks while describing them as “justice-involved youth”, and then feign outrage when they beat up an Asian couple.

President Trump didn’t cause the Philly subway attack. Calling the virus, the “Wuhan Virus” didn’t do it. Pro-crime policies by the Democrats running Philadelphia and Pennsylvania are entirely to blame.

The final incident cited in the resolution, of a teenager being attacked in school, can’t be investigated because no names, and not even the location of the school, have been released or named in the stories.

But a survey of the violent assaults on Asian people that have been attributed to fear of the pandemic makes it abundantly clear that they’re not coming from Trump supporters obsessed with wording.

A video that does show an attack on an Asian woman motivated by the coronavirus features a mask-wearing African-American woman on a subway car near Chinatown in Manhattan. Another attack in Manhattan was carried out by a minority perpetrator, of unknown race, wearing a surgical mask, and shouting, “You’re infected China boy, you need to get off the train.”

Nicholas Theodore of Harlem was arrested for spitting and threatening to shoot an Asian man in a Brooklyn subway station, while yelling, "You f–king Chinese spreading the coronavirus!" Yet another video from a Brooklyn subway confrontation shows a black man spraying an Asian man with Febreeze.

Of the 3 violent assaults on Asian people in May listed by the ADL, two took place in New York and one in Pasadena. All were carried out by black men. The Pasadena attacker appears to be a homeless man who had been previously arrested for assault with a deadly weapon for spitting on a woman.

The deadly weapon part came about because he was infected with tuberculosis.

Neither the locales nor the perps fit the profiles of Trump supporters who care what he calls the virus.

Of the three violent attacks in April, one took place in New York, one in New Jersey, and one in Chesapeake, Virginia. The one assault which caused physical harm involved African-American teenage girls assaulting a middle aged woman on an Edison, NJ bus badly enough that she needed stitches.

Most of the anti-Asian attacks took place in March. The majority of the attacks happened in New York, though there was one in Naperville that involved two white women. An assault on a subway train in Brooklyn appeared to be a robbery attempt by a homeless man who shouted racial slurs at his victim.

The perpetrator had allegedly been arrested nearly 100 times.

An Asian woman walking in Manhattan was assaulted by a Bronx resident who shouted slurs at her. When the attacker was arrested, the police found drug paraphernalia in her possession.

Raoul Ramos, pushed an Asian man and his son in Queens, New York.

A rapper posted a video of an elderly Asian woman being chased with a bottle of Purell in Miami.

A 13-year-old boy in New York repeatedly spat on an Asian man.

These incidents are ugly, but, like most hate crimes, have been taking place in Democrat enclaves. The perpetrators, if they bother to vote, are probably Democrats. The assaults are part of the ugly climate of casual violence that has been unleashed by pro-crime Democrat politicians like Mayor Bill de Blasio.

Everyone, even the dumbest people around, knows where the Wuhan Virus originated.

If Senator Kamala Harris, and allies like Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders want to stop crimes like these, they need to stop parroting propaganda from Communist China and get tough on crime. Senate Resolution 580 will do nothing to stop assaults on Asian-Americans in New York City. All it offers is hollow politically correct virtue signaling while trying to silence any discussion of China’s misdeeds.

The violent attacks make it obvious that hate crimes are not fundamentally distinct from other crimes. A violent hate crime is most often just an assault or a robbery accompanied by slurs. The solution isn’t to fight hate crimes, it’s to fight crime. Real hate crimes are the work of criminals who say something racist.

The Senate Democrat resolution seeks to muzzle free speech while undermining our foreign policy. Playing the language police will do absolutely nothing to stop violent assaults by subway thugs.

The only beneficiaries of Senate Resolution 580 will be China’s Communist Party.

It’s also yet another cynical effort to blame violent attacks in New York City on President Trump.

Anti-Asian violent attacks, like anti-Semitic violent attacks, are largely being carried out by the same people and in the same areas. The Democrats need to stop blaming Trump and Republicans for racist violence being carried out in their cities and by their voters, and start taking responsibility themselves.

Bring Grandma-Killing Governors to Justice

By On May 24, 2020
In April, Governor Gretchen Whitmer posed and primped on The Daily Show in a “That Woman from Michigan” t-shirt as a narcissistic slam at President Trump. That same month, that woman from Michigan issued an executive order, that the Daily Show and SNL didn’t mention, "protecting" residents of long-term care facilities, by forcing nursing homes to admit patients infected with the coronavirus.

Her order dictated that a "long-term care facility must not prohibit admission or readmission of a resident based on COVID-19 testing requirements or results" and told hospitals to discharge coronavirus patients back to the homes they had come from. Some nursing homes were designated as ‘hubs’ and coronavirus patients were transferred into them, even though these facilities had uninfected residents.

Despite claims that these ‘hubs’ would carefully separate infected and uninfected patients, that didn’t always happen. While there had been a plan to move coronavirus seniors to the 1,000 bed TCF Center in Detroit which was being used as an overflow hospital for coronavirus patients, they were instead sent to nursing homes. The TCF Center only ended up treating 39 patients before being mothballed.

As of now, at least 687 nursing home residents in Michigan have died in the pandemic and 290 coronavirus patients have been placed in Michigan nursing homes. These numbers are incomplete.

Next time, Governor Whitmer goes on the Daily Show, she can wear a new t-shirt, “Grandma Killer”.

In New York, Governor Cuomo’s Health Department had issued an order on March 25th to "expand hospital capacity" by forcing nursing homes to "comply with the expedited receipt of residents returning from hospitals to NHs" and warned facilities that, "no resident shall be denied re-admission or admission to the NH solely based on a confirmed or suspected diagnosis of COVID-19."

It took over 5,000 deaths for Cuomo to partially reverse his grandma-killing policy which had killed 5% of residents of nursing homes in the state. It was a partial reversal, because nursing homes still couldn’t remove infected patients, but hospitals were no longer allowed to discharge infected patients to homes.

Cuomo has argued that no one should be prosecuted for nursing home deaths because they would have died anyway. “Older people… are going to die from this virus,” he argued, dismissing the outrage of the families of the dead. “I don't think there's any logical rationale to say that they would be alive today.”

"We've tried everything to keep it out of a nursing home, but it's virtually impossible," he falsely claimed.

His grandma-killing administration had tried everything, except providing protective equipment, not sending infected patients into nursing homes, or removing infected patients from nursing homes.

Cuomo had tried everything to stop killing grandmas, except not killing grandmas.

On March 31st, New Jersey Commissioner of Health Judith Persichilli issued an order stating that in order to achieve "the expedited receipt of patients/residents discharging from hospitals", "no patient/resident shall be denied re-admission or admission to the post-acute care setting solely based on a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19." It was a virtual copy of the earlier New York State order.

New Jersey’s own nursing home death toll is approaching New York’s 5,000 death toll.

10,000 dead grandmas and grandpas haven’t dented the media’s adoration for Cuomo and Murphy. To paraphrase another leftist, a single dead grandma is a tragedy, 10,000 dead grandmas are a statistic.

But before New York and New Jersey had even made their move, Governor Tom Wolf’s grandma-killing administration had ordered Pennsylvania nursing homes to accept "readmissions for current residents who have been discharged from the hospital" in order to "alleviate the increasing burden in the acute care settings" including "patients who have had the COVID-19 virus."

Wolf’s Secretary of Health, Dr. Richard (Rachel) Levine, had transferred his own mother out of a nursing home and to a hotel.

“Dr. Levine has done a phenomenal job of making sure that we do what we need to do in keeping Pennsylvanians safe,” Governor Wolf insisted.

That phenomenal job amounts to 2,529 coronavirus deaths in nursing homes or 68% of the state's deaths.

On March 30th, Governor Newsom’s administration warned skilled nursing facilities that they "shall not refuse to admit or readmit a resident based on their status as a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 case."

“California’s directive is nothing less than a death sentence for countless residents," warned Patricia McGinnis, executive director of California Advocates for Nursing Home Reform.

“I’m not taking in a COVID-positive patient for the sole purpose of emptying one hospital bed. In two weeks, I’m sending them back 20 new patients,” Dr. Noah Marco, the Chief Medical Officer of the Los Angeles Jewish Home, said. Half of California's deaths, or 1,276, have occurred in nursing homes, though not all are the SNFs that were ordered to accept coronavirus patients.

Whitmer, Cuomo, Wolf, and Newsom have been widely praised by the media, even though their disastrous policies likely led to the deaths of thousands of senior citizens in nursing homes. There were states that got it right, protecting senior citizens by barring the transfer of coronavirus patients to nursing homes, requiring negative tests before a transfer, and creating separate facilities.

Cuomo, Wolf, Whitmer, and Newsom, not only failed to protect nursing home residents, but their forced readmission policy brought infected patients directly into nursing homes, leading to mass death.

5% of the residents in New York nursing homes are dead, that’s grandma-killing on a genocidal scale.

While New York had banned testing as a basis for nursing home admission, in Florida, a “COVID-19 test must be negative prior to transfer to a post-acute facility”.

Governor DeSantis noted that his ban on sending coronavirus patients to nursing homes is the reason why the nursing home death toll was 13 times higher in New York and 25 times higher in New Jersey.

The media falsely claims that after at least 12,000 dead grandmas and grandpas Cuomo, Whitmer, Murphy, and Newsom did a wonderful job, and DeSantis did a terrible one. Their measure of success isn’t in grandmas saved, but in small businesses shut down, people terrified, and government power made absolute.

And if the media gets to write the history of the pandemic, that is what our children will be taught.

They will learn that in an emergency, wise governors listening to learned experts deprived people of their civil liberties and stopped a catastrophe that could have been much worse. That revisionist history will become the model for handling future crises. A big lie paid for in countless thousands of lives.

The big lie must not be allowed to stand and the truth must shake our political system until it rings.

"Who can we prosecute for those deaths? Nobody. Mother Nature, God?" Cuomo asked rhetorically.

Governor Cuomo says that no one should be prosecuted for the nursing home deaths. He’s wrong. The prosecutions should begin with him and tear through the bureaucrats who made and implemented those decisions. Millions of people trusted Cuomo and other Democrat officials to keep them safe. Instead they seized power, abused their authority, and killed enough grandmas to fill miles of cemetery.

The grandma-killing governors must be brought to justice.

When a violent thug was shot by a police officer in a small city in Missouri, the Obama administration came down on Ferguson with an iron fist. How is it possible that thousands of nursing home residents can die, that grandmothers and grandfathers, that 127 veterans in New Jersey’s state-run nursing homes, that 5% of New York’s nursing home population can perish with less care than the concern about a thug?

What do we amount to as a country if we not only let that happen, but let them get away with it?

Thousands of men and women who worked all their lives and paid their taxes, who raised families, who wanted to watch their grandchildren grow up, died in large enough numbers that their bodies piled up in sheds, and the same nation that ground to a halt for Michael Brown and Freddie Gray shrugs. Where is even a fraction of the outrage that has been lavished on Ahmaud Aubrey for those thousands of wrinkled men and women, black and white, gasping out their last breaths in nursing home beds?

Cuomo, Whitmer, Murphy, and Newsom did not believe that they were worth saving. If we do not speak the truth, if we do not fight for justice for them, then are we as a nation really worth saving?

Liberal Jewish Opposition to Israel’s Sovereignty is Cowardly

By On May 24, 2020
The House of Saud, the oldest enemies of an independent free Jewish state, have at least temporarily abandoned their project to destroy it by replacing it with the Islamic terrorist colony of ‘Palestine’.

That’s more than you can say for liberal Jews.

It’s a sad day when Wahhabi Islam shows more aptitude for setting aside its fanaticism and adapting to reality than the alphabet soup organization leaders and non-profit newspapers that have been running the liberal Jewish community into the ground for over a hundred years without ever learning a thing.

This failed establishment is wringing its hands because Israeli law might be applied to parts of the West Bank filled with Jewish towns and villages that were liberated 53 years ago in the Six Day War. That means Israeli citizens living in cities like Ma'ale Adumim (pop. 38,193) would actually fully live under Israeli law, instead of a clumsy hybrid system of military law, antiquated regional law, and national law.

And, as Caroline Glick pointed out, “The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will benefit from the move because soldiers and officers will not be responsible for issues like directing traffic and providing building permits for everything from parking lots to kindergartens to neighborhoods.”

Please raise your hand if you want the military to be responsible for directing traffic. What the anti-occupation opponents of Israeli sovereignty are really fighting against is an end to the occupation.

Their weapons are terminology. They call applying Israeli sovereignty “annexation” and refer to cities like Ma'ale Adumim as “settlements”. They also insist that some Arab Muslim cities that are the same age and size are “refugee camps”. These walls of words have enraptured policymakers and NPR listeners for generations while completely ignoring the physical realities of life for Jews and Muslims.

Israel assuming responsibility for cities and villages, for territory that would remain its own, is Prime Minister Netanyahu’s plan and President Trump’s plan. What counter-plan do its opponents offer?

There is the endless peace process, which its proponents believe in almost as assiduously as religious Jews believe in G-d and the Bible, though their faith is in a much more intangible phenomenon because the peace process has never existed, has never been seen or experienced, and is taken entirely on faith.

After three miserable decades, the religion of the peace process is on its last legs. No one has seen hide or hair of peace since before the internet was this strange thing that only a few people were using.

True believers used to claim that an administration actively hostile to Israel could apply enough pressure to force the Jewish States to make so many concessions that the terrorists would just have to accept.

Obama disproved that theory.

Mahmoud Abbas, the 84-year-old dictator of the Palestinian Authority, was a mere lad in his fifties when this kettle of fish was put on the stove. He has refused to negotiate with the Trump administration, and also the Obama administration, his predecessor, Yasser Arafat, sabotaged peace negotiations during the Bush and Clinton administrations. History and common sense say his successors will do the same thing.

Go to a racetrack. Bet on the worst horse, the one that can hardly stand upright, and you’ll have better odds than betting on successful peace negotiations leading to two states living together in peace.

What’s Plan B?

Pro-Israel opponents of annexation argue for playing the waiting game some more. But waiting isn’t a plan. Israel has been waiting for a generation. First it was waiting for peace partners on the PLO side. Then it settled in to wait for someone in the White House who finally gets it. Why keep on waiting?

The peace partners aren’t coming. The Arab petrocracies are worried enough about Iran that they’re making common cause with Israel. And President Trump is the most pro-Israel president in history.

There’s nothing else to wait for except the coming of the messiah.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to move forward after decades of inaction and defensive measures, to set the terms, instead of passively reacting as they are set for Israel by the terrorists.

Sovereignty isn’t going to change everything. But it allows Israel to begin restoring normalcy. It’s either that or waiting endlessly for a peace process that will never arrive or a war that much more likely will.

In the early days of the peace process, its proponents claimed that critics didn’t have a plan. Israel couldn’t just go on like this forever. Now they’re the ones who want Israel to go on like this forever.

Either that or withdraw unilaterally from everywhere and hope that the terrorists stop the killing.

3 American and 6 Israeli administrations have tried everything from negotiations to unilateral withdrawals. They’ve all failed. The remaining options are to do nothing or take assertive steps.

That’s what President Trump’s peace plan did. It’s what Prime Minister Netanyahu is trying to do.

Proponents of the perpetual status quo warn that the Democrats, the Europeans, the Arabs, and, worst of all, liberal Jews, will turn on Israel if it applies its laws to its territory that it liberated 53 years ago.

The obvious question is if they do, what is Israel’s relationship with them worth anyway?

In the real world, Democrats and Republicans are tired of being asked about the peace process. It’s burned every president who touched it. Europeans governments cynically never cared about it, but ritually bash Israel to appease their Arab trading partners and domestic Muslim populations. The Arabs hoped to use the ‘Palestinian’ hoax to destroy Israel, only to realize that they need Israel to take on Iran.

To reduce that paragraph to a sentence, no one except liberal Jews cares anymore.

Except for the Qataris, the reliable allies of Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood, the Arabs have moved on. There are a lot fewer ambassadors, politicians and generals coming back from the Gulf and parroting the talking points of their hosts blaming all the regional instability on Israel. The new message is that all the regional instability is being caused not by Israel, but by Iran.

The domestic Muslim constituencies, whether it’s the Imams in Manchester and Toulouse, or CAIR and Rep. Ilhan Omar, are not going to stop agitating for the destruction of Israel no matter what it does. Nor will their lefty allies who have incorporated the ‘Palestinian’ plank into their socialist rage programs.

They are unappeasable because hating Jews and Israel gives them added purpose and meaning.

The Wahhabis can readapt to circumstances, but there’s no need for the green diaspora and its red ruling class to adapt to a damn thing. There’s virtually no downside to hating Jews, bombing synagogues, or attacking Jewish students on campus. And whatever downside occurs is suffered by the red allies, Jeremy Corbyn or Bernie Sanders, not the green diaspora which will go on hating just as much.

Especially because its Muslim Brotherhood leadership is interchangeable with Hamas.

And liberal Jews? They have the same choice that they always did. They can stand with their people or their fashionable progressive friends. They can, in their cowardly fashion, blame Netanyahu for forcing them to make that choice. But they’re only lying to themselves about why they made the wrong choice.

Israel and the hard Left were irreconcilable long before Netanyahu was born. Go ask Marx what he thought of the Jews, “What is the worldly religion of the Jew? Huckstering. What is his worldly God? Money.” Go ask Lenin, “Whoever, directly or indirectly, puts forward the slogan of Jewish ‘national culture’ is… an enemy of the proletariat... he is an accomplice of the rabbis and the bourgeoisie.”

Go ask the guy who coined the term, ‘socialism’, “Every government having regard to good morals ought to repress the Jews”. That’s exactly what every moral socialist government from the Soviet Union to the Sandinistas, from Gomulka’s Poland to Chavez’s Venezuela did, for over a century.

I’m sorry that it’s awkward when Jewish liberals show up to campus intersectional protests over pipelines, police, Palestine, and other things beginning with ‘P’. But it didn’t begin with Netanyahu or Israel. Liberal Jews need to stop blaming Israel because their lefty friends are anti-Semitic bigots.

The Saudis have for the moment stopped hating Israel. Wouldn’t it be nice if liberal Jews did too?

3 Out of 5 Deadliest Coronavirus Outbreaks Were in State Nursing Homes

By On May 21, 2020
The lockdown model sought to flatten the curve by preparing hospitals for a massive influx of patients by clearing out everyone including elderly patients, who were sent back to nursing homes. The hospitals, with a few limited exceptions, were not overwhelmed, but the nursing homes were.
1 in 3 coronavirus deaths, as of now, have involved nursing homes. These deaths were amplified by policies in blue states, especially New York and New Jersey, compelling facilities to take coronavirus patients, while concealing the number of deaths at facilities behind false claims of resident privacy.
Blue state administrations have tried to blame the thousands of deaths on mismanaged private nursing homes, and while some nursing homes are badly run, the worst death tolls were in state nursing homes.

The 5 deadliest outbreaks in nursing homes took place in New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. Three of those facilities, the Soldiers' Home in Holyoke, Massachusetts, the Paramus Veterans Memorial Home, and Veterans Memorial Home in Menlo Park in New Jersey, are state run facilities.
New Jersey's Department of Military and Veterans Affairs runs 3 homes for veterans. 2 of them had major deadly outbreaks. As of now, the Paramus home had 72 deaths and the Menlo Park facility had 55 deaths. But the third, Vineland Veterans Memorial Home, had recorded only one death.
Paramus has 211 residents and 189 cases which means that nearly all of the residents are infected. The Menlo Park facility has 167 cases in a 190-resident facility with an equally bad infection rate. The latter facility had repeatedly come to the attention of federal inspectors who cited it for not following infection-control procedures and its health violations rate was four times the state average.
Its Medicare rating was ‘Below Average” and its health inspections rating was ‘Much Below Average’. The Paramus veterans home was also poorly rated. The Vineland home, by contrast, was highly rated.
State officials had apparently lied about staff not coming down with the virus, workers were told not to wear protective equipment, and the Paramus facility wasn’t following CDC disinfection guidelines. At Menlo Park, the family of a Vietnam veteran complained that he was wrongly placed with coronavirus patients leading to his death, and family members of other deceased residents reported facility failures.
Garden State nursing homes have been ground zero for some of the worst outbreaks in the country, but even among them, the homes run by New Jersey have been the worst. Had a Republican been in charge of the state, instead of a Wall Street donor to the Obama campaign, the media might have noticed that.
When Governor Murphy was asked who was currently running the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, he replied, “There’s an acting person who came in from under him. I don’t know that name.”
Murphy didn’t know because, his political appointee had resigned in the middle of the pandemic to run for Congress, infuriated that some members of the New Jersey delegation, one of whom had a brother-in-law at one of the facilities, had called for a federal investigation into the breakdown.
The former department boss claimed that he had resigned so as not "embarrass Gov. Murphy by running against a candidate [he] supports."
Despite the pretense that blue state politicos cared about veterans or nursing homes, Murphy had no clue who was in charge of veterans affairs or the facilities that had 2 of the 3 deadliest nursing home outbreaks in the state. And he made it quite clear that he really didn’t care.
In Massachusetts, the outbreak at the Soldiers' Home in Holyoke with 74 deaths was by far the worst in the state where other facilities had an average of 10 deaths. Holyoke is one of only two state run facilities for veterans, the other being the Chelsea Soldiers’ Home where the death toll is up to 28.
In New Jersey, two out of three state homes for veterans had major outbreaks with massive death tolls, and in Massachusetts, it was one out of two. Statistics like these tell their own story about socialized medicine.
The United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts and the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division are investigating the Holyoke facility, and Governor Baker has brought in Mark Pearlstein, a former DA, to conduct an independent investigation on behalf of Massachusetts.
The spectacle of dead veterans and investigations of facilities meant to serve them is not a new one. It is all too likely that what happened at state facilities is exactly what had been happening at the VA with an entrenched bureaucracy running the system for its own benefit, not for those whom it’s meant to serve. The investigations will turn up local mismanagement and recommend more funding. As they usually do.
The VA, which helps funds the state homes, has claimed that it conducted inspections and that the facilities met its standards even as, some like the Paramus facility, were receiving poor Medicare grades.
Attorney General Gurbir Grewal, Governor Murphy's lackey, launched an investigation meant to focus on private nursing homes, a point he made clear when he threw around rhetoric about, "profits over patients." While there may be some truth to that, it's New Jersey's state-run homes which were some of the worst killing fields in the state. And any reckoning ought to begin with the state officials responsible.
The death tolls in nursing homes are already being used to push for more socialized medicine, but it was state medicine that was responsible for the deadliest outbreaks in nursing homes in America.
The VA scandals of the Obama administration, which may have claimed the lives of as many as 1,000 veterans, were swept under the rug, and Senator Bernie Sanders, who had tried to cover up the deaths as chairman of the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee, rebounded with a push for socialized medicine.
After all this time, socialized medicine is still killing veterans.
The deaths of hundreds of veterans in state-run facilities in blue states will be covered up the same way, but they must not, cannot, and should not be forgotten. The deaths of thousands of nursing home residents are an outrage. And blue state governors in New York, New Jersey, and California, among others, should be held accountable for putting lockdown politics ahead of saving the lives of seniors.
Our nation owes a particular debt to the veterans who were left to die in Paramus, Menlo Park, and Holyoke. We should remember their names and honor the debt by telling the truth about their deaths.
Many of them defended our country by fighting socialist regimes in Korea and Vietnam. Their deaths should not be exploited to promote the big lie that socialized medicine is the answer.
Socialized medicine is not the answer unless the question is, “How do we kill more senior citizens?”

Pelosi’s HEROES Act Forces Unemployed Americans to Compete With Illegal Aliens

By On May 20, 2020
Who are Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s Heroes? Based on the $3 trillion HEROES Act that House Democrats have just unveiled, the answer is illegal aliens and criminals.
While the HEROES Act pretends to be about coronavirus relief, its focus is on immigration.
With over 20 million jobs lost in April, the HEROES Act goes to great lengths to make sure that millions of illegal aliens will still be able to keep their jobs, no matter how many Americans lose theirs.

Buried under the misleadingly titled, "Protections for Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers", is a virtual blank check to keep illegal aliens from being deported. The HEROES Act's definition of "critical infrastructure workers" covers cafeteria workers, warehouse janitors, and pet food delivery boys.
Anyone who works in virtually any field involving food in any way is a "critical infrastructure worker". An illegal alien putting out mouse traps at any facility involving food from "wholesale to retail" is a critical worker. A vast array of call center workers and delivery people are covered. Even laundromat employees are critical infrastructure workers under the federal definition used by the HEROES Act.
The HEROES Act doesn't just protect illegal aliens from deportation, but SEC. 191203 declares that "hiring" illegal aliens is not a violation of the Immigration and Nationality Act and that the aliens are "deemed to be in a period of deferred action and authorized for employment."
Americans seeking jobs as essential workers will be forced to compete with newly legalized illegal aliens.
Even while tens of millions of Americans are out of work, Pelosi and the House Democrats are going to great lengths to protect the ability of employers to illegally hire illegal aliens while authorizing them to accept those jobs. And considering how Federal judges have defended DACA’s deferred action, this temporary deferral could effectively become a permanent amnesty for millions of illegals.
The HEROES Act is really a backdoor amnesty that will declare illegal aliens “heroes” for delivering pizza. And these heroes who delivered pizza and sprayed for roaches in a plant somewhere can’t be deported. Instead, they’re going to be honored and legalized while Americans lose their jobs, savings, and lives.
The HEROES Act may end up killing more Americans of employment age than the coronavirus will.
Pelosi’s boondoggle also extends visas for aliens already in this country, regardless of whether they're "critical" workers or not, and 'rolls over' all the visas that weren't issued during this time. The Democrats are determined not to miss a single chance to bring more of their voters into the United States.
The rollover provisions focus on chain migration via "family-sponsored immigrants", "employment-based immigrants" and "diversity immigrants". All of these are aspects of a broken immigration system.
SEC. 191204 or “Supplementing the COVID Response Workforce” expedites processing applications for aliens who "provide healthcare" within 30 days by email. Visa applications can be bypassed with video-conferencing, and interviews are waived, even though the shortage of personnel that is driving this strategy has never actually come into being and American workers are being furloughed at hospitals that were prevented from performing most procedures.
There are an estimated 1.4 million American health care workers out of work. Maybe the Democrats could prioritize finding them jobs first?
American health care workers furloughed because of the lockdown may end up losing their jobs because the Democrats who praise them as “heroes” insist on bringing in foreign workers to take their place.
And these foreign health care workers are being brought in under the broad umbrella of “preventing COVID-19”. If we didn’t have open borders on the ground and in the air, there wouldn’t have been a Wuhan Virus to prevent. But even while claiming to fight a pandemic caused by a foreign virus, Pelosi and the Democrats want more immigration and more open borders to spread more pandemics.
SEC. 191205 seeks to free illegal aliens already in ICE custody with a review of "the immigration files of all individuals in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to assess the need for continued detention" to free those who are "not subject to mandatory detention laws."
The section also demands that illegal aliens get free video chats, email access, and orders that pro-illegal alien lefty groups be given "broad and flexible access" to illegals.
But the HEROES Act doesn’t just settle for freeing illegal aliens, not when it can also free criminals.
The Dem bill seeks to free "vulnerable and low-risk individuals" in pre-trial detention. The definition of "vulnerable" is any prisoner over who is over 50 or under 18 who has, sickle-cell anemia, or asthma.
And how do Pelosi and her ilk define "low-risk"?
Any criminal who "does not pose a risk of serious, imminent injury to a reasonably identifiable person".
That covers criminals who pose a risk of serious, imminent injury to any random member of the public.
Criminals who pose a risk of serious, but not imminent injury, criminals who pose a risk of imminent, but not serious injury, and criminals who pose a serious, imminent risk of injury to someone who can’t be reasonably identified, could all be considered “low-risk” by the jailbreaking HEROES Act.
Under these parameters, an asthmatic serial killer ought to be considered low-risk because we can’t identify whom he might chop to bits. A paranoid schizophrenic who only seriously assaults people when he goes off his medication could be considered to pose a risk of serious, but not imminent injury.
And, of course, muggers who don’t seriously hurt their victims would be considered low-risk. Ditto for car thieves, burglars, assorted robbers, and any felon who isn’t walking around with a sign reading, “I will kill Andrew next Tuesday”. And even then, we might not be “reasonably” sure which Andrew he means.
These are the heroes of Pelosi’s HEROES Act.
There's also money for "safe and sanitary temporary transitional housing" and facilitating "family reunification" for the released criminals.  And a push for applying "all pre- and post-adjudication release processes and mechanisms applicable to juveniles… as quickly as possible".
That would cover 17-year-old offenders.
Pelosi and her Democrat allies claim to be very concerned about inmates in custody contracting the coronavirus. And yet after months of this, the predicted mass death tolls in prisons haven’t happened. Instead the elderly have been dying in large numbers in nursing homes. If the Democrats were really concerned, they would cut off funding to any municipality arresting people over social distancing.
But the Dems seem happy with a state of affairs in which citizens are arrested and criminals are freed.
The HEROES Act contains plenty that is bad, including a waiver of the Buy American Act that is a free gift to the People’s Republic of China, but its obsession with criminals and illegal aliens, at the expense of Americans, shows who Speaker Pelosi and the Democrats think that they’re really in office to serve.
While Americans are put out of work, the Democrats help illegal aliens hang on to their jobs. And while Americans are locked up for trying to cut hair, go for a walk, or play catch, criminals are set free.
The Democrat coronatopia is a place where criminals are free and everyone else is in prison, and where only government officials and illegal aliens have jobs.

Biden-Sanders Unity Task Force Includes Advocate of Printing Infinite Money

By On May 19, 2020
What do you get if you combine the destructive society-destroying policies of Bernie Sanders with the black hole of enthusiasm that is Joe Biden? That’s the new radically insane Democrat nightmare.
Bernie’s policies were terrible, but he had an enthusiastic following. Biden generated all the voter enthusiasm of spoiled tuna, but his selling point was that he wasn’t going to do all the crazy Bernie stuff. Now the Biden campaign is trying to unite the party by adopting some of the Bernie policies so that the Democrats are going to be stuck with all the unelectable socialist ideas and a boring candidate.
The worst of both worlds.

Biden is such a terrible candidate that he vanished from the media landscape until a sexual assault allegation against him went mainstream. And that’s in a media environment where the major news networks were so desperate that they had begun touting George W. Bush as a model of leadership.
When even the most biased media since Pravda can’t even try to make you look good, it’s bad.
Voters like Bernie Sanders until it’s slowly explained to them that he wants to take away their Medicare and let the Boston Bomber vote from prison. And those are just the policy outcomes he’ll admit to. Half a dozen 2020 Democrats threw themselves on the socialist hand grenade and endorsed Biden to stop Bernie. But from the looks of things, they might have just as well let Bernie grab the nomination.
The joint unity task forces of the Biden-Sanders campaign will have Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez co-chairing the unity climate change task force. That means putting the radical brat whose Green New Deal called for "the phasing out of American air travel" in charge of advising the Biden campaign.
Varshini Prakash, whose Sunrise Movement helped draft the Green New Deal, is also on the task force. The Sunrise Movement’s demand for net zero emissions by 2030 would wipe out most manufacturing and energy production in this country. That means people freezing to death in their own homes.
And then there’s the criminal justice task force.
The Bernie Sanders campaign had foundered when the radical socialist endorsed having the Boston Bomber vote from prison. Bernie's pick for the criminal justice panel, Chiraag Bains, is an Obama DOJ guy from the Ferguson era, and a Soros Open Society Foundations fellow.
When Buttigieg dismissed Sanders' call to have the Boston Bomber vote from prison, Chiraag Bains ranted that, "Felony disenfranchisement has its roots in racist attempts to sap black political power."
Bains has tweeted that he supports, “voting for the incarcerated.”
The Boston Bomber voting just went right back on the table.
If you think that's as bad as it can get, Bernie's picks for the economy task force include Stephanie Kelton, a proponent of Modern Monetary Theory.
MMT simply states that the government should just print as much money as it can.
Kelton, the author of The Deficit Myth, says things like, “There’s so much pressure on candidates to pay for everything. I don’t see anyone—I mean, I’ll just be honest, I don’t really see any Presidential candidates putting forward ambitious agendas and saying, ‘We’re not going to try to pay for any of this.’”
In case you doubt that the radical economist really means it, Kelton breezily answers her own questions. “Q: Can we afford a #GreenNewDeal? A: Yes. The federal government can afford to buy whatever is for sale in its own currency.” And, the classic, “Q: Are you saying the government can just "print the money" to pay for new spending? A: Is there any other way?”
Another Bernie pick for the economy task force is Darrick Hamilton, who had co-authored a call for a federal job guarantee in a piece which argued that by, “eliminating the threat of unemployment once and for all, a federal job guarantee would bring power back to the workers.”
How would we pay for it? Just print more money.
The Biden-Sanders immigration task force includes Javier Valdes, an executive director of Make the Road. The open borders group supports abolishing ICE and letting illegal aliens vote in state elections.
Marisa Franco, another Bernie figure on the task force, formerly ran Not1More Deportation, which called for a complete end to deportations, and now wants to abolish ICE.
"We need a goal, and dismantling ICE is a long-term goal that can happen in stages," she said.
The Biden-Sanders task force may not get Biden to adopt all of Bernie’s most radical policies, but even a compromise with people who want to just print infinite money, let terrorists vote from prison, wipe out manufacturing, provide guaranteed jobs for all, and abolish immigration enforcement would be bad.
A mediocre candidate, Biden needs all the help generating enthusiasm that he can. And the only people generating any enthusiasm among Democrats are the coterie of professional radical leftist activists. The hypocritical fact that Bernie Sanders, who denounces billionaires, yet has brought in radicals backed by Soros, like Bains and Valdes, to create the next just policies of the Democrats, goes unnoticed.
But that’s what it amounts to.
Biden outsources his policies to Bernie who outsources them to Soros. That’s what the Democrats are. First the DNC disenfranchised all the Democrats who voted for anyone other than Biden. Then they disenfranchised Biden voters, leaving the party a hollow finger puppet for a Hungarian Bond villain.
Vote for Biden and you get Bernie. Vote for Bernie and you get Soros.
The Democrats claim that they aren’t radical. Yet their unity task force consists of people who literally believe in just printing money, having the federal government employ everyone, and letting serial killers vote. Even Communist dictatorships would question two out of three of these lunatic proposals.
It really says something that the Democrats are going places that even the USSR wouldn’t have gone.
The Democrats have embraced the worst of both worlds, Biden’s charisma and Bernie’s politics, and even in the aftermath of a pandemic, voters will be confronted with a party that wants to take away their health care, make their savings worthless, and make their vote equal to that of a child molester.
And the Democrats may be overestimating how popular any of these terrible ideas will be.
