Christian Blood on Obama's Hands

On Christmas Day of last year, Muslim terrorists set off bombs in churches across Nigeria. It was one of the worst attacks by Boko Haram which is determined to continue its reign of terror until the country is ruled by Muslim law. Christian pastors have been beheaded by Boko Haram and a spokesman for the group has openly stated that their interim goal is "to eradicate Christians from certain parts of the country."

The Boko Haram death toll has surpassed a thousand in only a few years. It has killed 250 people this year alone. It draws inspiration from the Taliban, has links to Al-Qaeda and has carried out numerous sophisticated attacks, including multiple car bombings.

That leaves one question. Why hasn't Boko Haram been designated a terrorist organization? it has killed more people than some of the organizations on the list and it is dedicated to ethnic cleansing, something that we decided was unacceptable when it came to Muslims. Shouldn't it then be equally unacceptable when it is being done by Muslims to Christians?

Apparently not. Johnnie Carson, Obama's Chicago born man in Africa, and the Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs at subcommittee hearings chaired by Senator Coons, dismissed the idea of designating Boko Haram a terrorist organization and claimed falsely, that despite Boko Haram's repeated statements about its goals and its very name, that this conflict was not driven by religion, but by social inequities.

Questions about Boko Haram's terrorism against Christians were rerouted into what Carson described as a "comprehensive" approach to the problem, sidelining security assistance in favor of providing social aid to the Muslim north and urging the Nigerian government to stop aggressively fighting terrorism.

Boko Haram had been inspired by the Taliban and American diplomats are forcefully pushing the Nigerian government into adopting the same disastrous failed "Hearts and Minds" policies of Afghanistan. Instead of combating Boko Haram, we will be increasing funding to the Muslim north and even opening a consulate there. And of course urging Nigeria to appoint more Muslims to high ranking positions.

While the subcommittee on Homeland Security has urged that Boko Haram be designated a terrorist group, diplomats in the State Department are doing everything possible to sabotage the effort. The lies are coming fast and thick. In the New York Times, Jean Herskovitz wrote an op-ed insisting that there was no Boko Haram, suggesting instead that random criminal gangs were really responsible for the mass murder of Christians.

Herskovitz used the exact same line put out by appeasers in the early days of the War on Terror when they claimed that there was no actual Al-Qaeda. Since then that spin has been used for countless Muslim terrorist groups, who cannot be fought because they don't truly exist. Carson echoed her in his testimony, insisting that Boko Haram was vague, loosely defined and not at all monolithic.
According to Herskovitz, the genocidal Boko Haram terrorist group was actually a "peaceful" group which only turned to violence in response to government oppression, and urged us not to act in a way that "would make us appear biased toward a Christian president" or the Nigerian Muslims would turn on us too.

As a government employee, Johnnie Carson was somewhat more discreet, but took the same position that the real fault lies with the Christian South and the Nigerian government for keeping Muslims oppressed and in poverty, and that the only solution is to pour money, jobs and power into the north. The unstated endgame of this is to create a stalemate that will force the Nigerian political system to make further concessions to Islam and the Sharia law that Boko Haram is fighting for.

The appeasers make no mention of Boko Haram's mass murder of Christians or its fundamental intolerance. All they offer is the drumbeat of statistics on poverty in the Muslim north, completely ignoring the fact that the north is undeveloped because the Muslim leaders who resist vaccines and education for their followers want it that way.

This isn't just about a Muslim terrorist group trying to impose Sharia on 82 million Christians, a system that would reduce them to permanent inferiority. Boko Haram's increasingly sophisticated attacks aren't the work of a local group with no outside support. They bear the stamps of training by practiced terrorists as part of a concerted effort to take over Nigeria.

As the country with the tenth highest petroleum reserves in the world and the second highest in Africa-- it's no secret why our oil producing allies in the Gulf, who fund half the terrorism in the world, would want to seize Nigeria and bring it under the banner of Islam. Taking Nigeria wouldn't just add to their total wealth, it would put a bigger collar around our necks as Nigerian oil accounts for about ten percent of our oil imports. If the Saudis can corral Libya and Nigeria, then Muslim countries will account for nearly 40 percent of our oil imports.

But between these cold hard statistics is a human reality. Boko Haram continues the genocidal Islamic march across the world. Its goal is the same as the Third Reich, to seize power through terror, subjugate entire nations, enslave or exterminate minorities and rob them of their resources. And once again American diplomats are aiding and abetting the carnage.

The Christians of Africa are to Islam what the Jews of Europe were to the Nazis. And Johnnie Carson and his ilk are eager to play Ambassador Joseph P. Kennedy whose Nazi sympathies overshadowed his duty to his country and his conscience. Their goal is to bring down the Goodluck administration or tie its hands enough so that it is forced to make compromises with the terrorists.
The Nigerian government thinks that there is a lobby at work aiding Boko Haram. What it does not understand is that it is only half-right. There is indeed a lobby, more than one, beginning with the Saudi lobby. But most of the appeasers do not need to be paid to do their work. Washington D.C. is full of grand buildings, but there is a rot deep in the heart of all that marble and stone. The edifices stand, but the soul is tainted.

It is that tainted soul which closes its eyes to the atrocities of Boko Haram and protects it from being designated a terrorist group. It is that rot which closes its conscience to the bodies of dead Christians, to those murdered at hands of Islamic genocidal terrorists, and instead mouths more platitudes about transparency and a comprehensive social services approach that will help tip Nigeria into the Islamic camp.

Every act of Islamic terror from Boko Haram is another stain of Christian blood on Obama's hands and the hands of his minions like Johnnie Carson. During the Holocaust, it was the diplomats who did their best to prevent the rescue of the Jews. Today the ghosts of Breckinridge Long and Joe Kennedy still walk the halls of the Harry S. Truman Building where the cover-ups continue and meaningless reassurances are doled out.

What Boko Haram intends for Nigeria is nothing short of genocide. The "cleansing" of Nigeria's Christian population until it is as "pure" as the land of Boko Haram's backers in Saudi Arabia. The lives of millions of Christians in Africa are on the line. Boko Haram has killed thousands of people and it will kill millions if the State Department gets its way and muscles the Goodluck government into an appeasement posture.

The question is how many more have to die. How much Christian blood has to be spilled until the right thing is done? Boko Haram has killed more people in one year than the Ulster Defence Force, which sits on the State Department terrorist list, has killed in decades of activity. Many of the groups on the list have no connection to the United States and no intention of ever attacking the United States. That hasn't stopped the State Department from designating them as terrorist groups. And Boko Haram, which has Al-Qaeda links, has an open and shut case for being on that list.

There is no rational reason why Boko Haram should not be on that list. Being on that list will not force us to take any action in Nigeria, just as we aren't bombing Ireland just because some Irish organizations are on that list. What it will do is make it more difficult for terrorist charities to operate in the United States. It will also make it more difficult for diplomats to pressure Nigeria into making concessions to Boko Haram and make it easier to share intelligence and provide other forms of support to the Nigerian government in its war on Islamic terror.

In her Op-Ed, Herskovitz insisted that "Boko Haram is not the problem". It is up to us to make it the problem, to prevent the Carsons and Herskovitzes from pushing the mass murder of Christians under the rug as if it were no more than a minor inconvenience in their dreams of Muslim power-sharing arrangements.

The shadows are falling over Africa. Cote D'ivorie has been lost to a Western backed Muslim coup. Kenya has been forced into making concessions to Sharia law. But Nigeria is the big prize, its oil and its sizable population makes it the grand prize in the battle for Africa. And if it is won, it will be over the dead bodies of millions of Christians.

Among all the other issues that occupy our time and attention, we must not forget Boko Haram, we must not forget the murdered Christians of Africa or the murdered Jews of Toulouse or the murdered Hindus of Karachi. Not only because that would be wrong, but because we are next. These are not isolated atrocities; they are drops in a tidal wave of death that is sweeping toward us. If we do not stand up for them, who will be left to stand up for us?

Hard Hitting stuff. Having lived in Africa, during a short but genocidal moment... This is all too real and heartbreaking. Excellent writing. Thank you bad blue for bringing this and so many other great articles to my conscious. Everyone copy the adress and submit this story to drudge-- more people need to connect the dots between socialism and Nazi style exterminations. And to this sorry, lying POS president and the global caliphate. I feel we are indeed in the days of Revelations.

what exactly is it about americans (who's comprehension of situations outside of their country)...leads them to make such erroneous judgements...with regard to the local situations ie nigeria

their appears to exist...a naivete at government level (any administration) to fully grasp the complexities of the situation as it exists....and replace it with a 'hollywoodised' version

from a white south african's viewpoint....one can only sit in wonderment as the so called 'leader' of the free world...stumbles around in confusion....as another bloody islamic conflagration takes hold

Well Daniel, they threw the Orthodox Christians under the bus in Serbia so I'm not surprised the Nigerian Christians are being treated the same way. Same for the Christians in the ME, Turkey and the "under siege and oppressed" Gaza.

And let's not forget the 3000 Buddhists slaughtered in Thailand.

A new world order needs a world religion and I believe they have chosen Islam. The evidence certainly seems to point to that.

    Proud Brit.

  10. Here's what's puzzling me:

Didn't Christianity used to be a powerful world religion? Like maybe a century or two ago, or even less? Why aren't they themselves screaming about this everywhere?

One can only get the feeling that the vast majority of the billion or more Christians in the world don't really take their religion all that seriously, or they would be out fighting for it somewhere.

As a Jew, my feelings towards Christianity are ambivalent, and even as I find myself seeing them as one of the only hopes for a strong reaction to Islam, I cannot help but wonder if they have lost any real belief in what has always seemed to me to be a bizarre distortion of Jewish ideas.

The West, led by Obama and the soulless 'liberals', has a huge amount of innocent blood on their hands, but what happened to Christianity's internal strength?

  11. well, golly, why don't they stand up for themselves???
    You know, like Israel does?

Why don't the Christians - or anyone - send the Christians guns, or bounty hunters to take out the Boko Haram guys?

Is it because, as a Christian guy once told me, it would be a sin to act, instead of letting God do all the work and the saving?

During WW2, Christians were some of those active in the resistance to Nazis. Do they do nothing but pray these days?

  12. fsy,

Marxism snuck itno the Churches and had its vampiric way with the leaders of the church and has corrupted it.

i too have been very ambivalent (to say the least0 abotu christianity and the Churches.
But this is a perfect opportunity for the church to stand up for its members and start up rescue missions.
But no, they'd rather blame the Jews for everything and orgamnise boycotts of Israel.

Unfortunately, the only thing i read from Christian groups is the need to pray for their brothers and sisters. Prayer won't do ANYTHING without action, and it is simply amazing the kinds of attitudes that are out there. mind you, given our existences as a unit of peaceful countries, it is difficult.
But the Churches and so-called leaders are definitely in a good position to call for action - but they care more abou their relationship with muslims and interfaith bull#%76869 than their own parishioners.

It's amazing - they can mobilise for Catholic Youth Convention 2004 or whatever it was, but standing up for their own, even in newspapers, social media etc - is not something they do.

Again - we're acting like the bull attacking the red cape, hardly any comprehension that it is the matador who is the enemy.

You article?, good as far as it goes, but go a little further.
    Boko Haram?
The BATTLE that is being fought is islam against Western Civilization, but the WAR?, the bigger force at work against us is the Left.
The Left has been fighting a war against Western Civilization since the Communist revolution in 1917, since Hitler declared war on the Communists when he published Mein Kampf in 1925, since Marx wrote the Communist Manifesto in 1848.

It is the Leftists in the American government who can shill for islam because they are using islam as a tool and a battering ram to destroy Western Civilization.
Because they have their own reasons for destroying America, so they can rebuild their delusional, socialist utopia upon the rubble of Western Civilization.
They are using islam as a tool to help them destroy America.
They're not naive about islam and they're not ignorant or mistaken about islam.
They know what they are doing.
They don't need the bribes of the islamic Saudis to commit treason - but they gladly accept them.

And part of the war of the Left against Western Civilization is their war against White people.
The Left knows that it is the White race that is so closely associated with Western Civilization in Germany and The British Empire and America.
That is why the Left is, and has been, so eager to see the destruction of the White race by massive immigration, muslim immigration in Europe and illegal immigration across the Southern border in the U.S, and by their war of annihilation against Germany in WWI and WWII.

So, do they lie about the nature of islam? of course, do they lie about the nature of Boko Haram? of course, but it is all just a part of the larger war of the Left against the West.

    You don't believe me?
Rhodesia was destroyed by the Left in the name of civil rights in 1980.
Yugoslavia and Serbia were destroyed in the name of islam in 1998.
South Africa is being destroyed by racists and islam today.
Israel, the forward base of Western Civilization in the middle east, is under threat every day.
Europe and the the Anglo Saxon nations are being invaded by Saudi subsidized immigration every today.

    in reply to mindRider
There's an important element of truth in what I say, or hint at, about the causes of the wars against Germany.
A truth that is still relevant to the situation today, and important to understand in the present war against islam, but still largely unrecognized.
A truth that was obscured by the Left's propaganda ( read lies ) of the time and a propaganda that is still actively being wielded against Germany and all western democratic nationalist ( zionist ) countries, even Israel.
There was a hostility toward Germany that is now being directed against all of White Christian Western Civilization by the Left, by the promoters of the one world government of the delusional communist Left..
And the Left has now found a stronger ( they now have more oil money ) ally in islam.

BUT, no doubt, you are right; the forces at work against Germany were complicated, more complicated than anyone could explain in a sentence in a blog.

For a decade at least, the West ignored the genocide of Christians in Sudan by an avowed Islamic regime in Khartoum, with a stated reason that Blacks were Infidel Christians. The result was 2 million estimated deaths, and millions in slavery.

But for George W Bush , that genocide would be continuing, and Christians would not have a state to live in.

If anyone deserves a Nobel peace prize, it is George W Bush; if for no reason then the above.

fsy The West, led by Obama and the soulless 'liberals', has a huge amount of innocent blood on their hands, but what happened to Christianity's internal strength?

As you ask in terms of Christian faith- A Christian's internal strength is in his submission to God's will. Only if Caesar's power becomes destructive to the universal good, will a Christian act - and then by sacrificing his life. It is not by going to war.

That is in purely Christian terms. However, secular Christian nations response to evil is motivated by other concerns.

"There are two ways to be fooled: One is to believe what isn't so; the other is to refuse to believe what is so. --Soren Kierkegaard"

The present US government refusal to list Boko Karam as a terrorist government, will prove to be a big miscalculations when it comes to their policy with Nigeria.

Islam has over the years reaffirmed their intentions to destroy the western civilisation and majority of the world muslims view the US as their number 1 enemy. The case isnt different with Nigerian muslims. The current brutalisation and mass killings of Christians in Nigeria with the eventual hope of establishing a n islamic state will not end there. If they succeed, The Nigerian oil wealth will be another tool to further strangle American influence in Africa and beyond.

The average Northern Nigerian muslim who has never read any world history book or literature believes US is an enemy state due to the indoctrination kids are subject to at birth. They are told to hate anything american, and to them america symbolises the epitome of evil and should be resisted at all costs.

The southern christians are not in themselves peaceful and totally against violence. The biafran war taught them that the US should not be trusted and as such such is not an ally. The current restraint to fight back the islamist stems from the fact that the fundamental resource which is the "oil" is not in itself threatened. If and when this core wealth is threatened, the world will watch the biggest backlash against the muslim world unfold right in their eyes and the US would be powerless to interfere, because of the dire consequences that would follow. In the event of a war, the south has all the cards in its favor since they have all the oil wealth needed to sustain serious and prolong military conflict, they are better educated and can easily influence big foreign allies like china and Israel to bypass any arms embargo that would be likely placed by a US leftist govt. The north would likely recieve assistance from the arab world. The decisive factor will be the effect on the world oil market. That would force a policy shift in favor of the south christians.

The US leftist leaders have always maintained an anti-christian posturing when it comes to dealing with islamic genocidal tendencies all around the world and as such it is no surprise. I laugh at the present plans to build a consulate in the north of Nigeria. That consulate will be a bomb fodder even before its completion. Currently, the US places travel restrictions on visiting that part of the country so I guess the consulate would be a merely symbolic.

Nigeria will surely divide in due season, and I strongly believe the trigger for this might come from the Boko haram, an event that the northern muslims seriously fear and dont want to see happen. This has made them begin to rally against the sect.
