I wish this article could land in the hands of President Trump. He has failed to understand his enemy as have other Presidents when it comes to the Middle East so this war with Iran will not end with this President or the next. Islam has said the day will come when their flag flies over our White House but no one seems to take that threat serious. That goal is what drives them and they will not stop until they are destroyed or they succeed in the mission to conquer this country. Sadly, I believe the latter will be the ultimate outcome. I also believe public opinion of the brain dead Americans who think nothing of murdering their unborn but riot and demonstrate if we do what needs to be done in the Middle East. We have allowed so many of them into our country (Thank you Ted Kennedy) and that will end up being our downfall. Oe of the things we must do to slow down their progression is to roll back the clock of immigration and end all immigration from the Middle East. But again no one is willing to lose their elected throne to do what really needs to be done.
The regimes proxies here in the U.S. need to be treated as terrorists, spies or straight up invaders and gotten rid of. This would include any DSA candidate.
Thank you for another analysis of the Western way of thinking. Since WWII, while first the communists, then the anarchists and now the Jihadists went about their long marches, we luxuriated in our successful selves and turned a blind eye to what was going on in our midst. I am a Vietnam vet who bought into that, let's just get along philosophy until I came home and watched as a plan was executed which would eventually lead to a communist victory. The deliberate removal of our support from the South and the fraudulent negotiations for peace with the north sealed the fate of the South Vietnamese and we shrugged and moved on. That has been the goal of the West, appease, negotiate, shrug and move on. We lost China, much of southeast Asia, South America and Africa with the same policies. And what of those regions today. Communism still has footholds but in every part of those worlds with the result of stagnant economies, oppressive rules and regulations and human rights violations. The communists lost big with the fall of the Soviet Union and as much as others have tried to move back to a world movement a little taste of capitalistic success has dampened the fervor.
In the march onward of totalitarianism, Islam has reclaimed it's place as the next best thing. When combined with Communist instructions with a little Fascism sprinkled in they march toward the ultimate goal of one world dominated by the followers of Mohammed. And our answer is, appease, negotiate, shrug and move on.
When someone desperately wants to die for a cause it is usually best to help them achieve their desire. But, we, the dupes of the West just acquiesce, bend the knee, open our society and surrender. I despair of the outcome.
Until you recognize the Truth about Iran and what is happening in America with the Muslim take over. We can count on them destroying us, not just from within but all over. Enough of it. We need to stop it now in anyway necessary to achieve that goal! Stop this take over now!

This expresses what I have been trying to formulate in my own thinking for some time. Iran, like the Taliban, like ISIS, as with North Korea and its family cult idolatry, are not motivated by Western concepts of competing national interests, economic prosperity, shifting gradations of international influence, nor even medieval tribal prejudices still with us in some ways in foreign affairs. Theirs is an ideology that dictates conquest, as commanded by the absolute and final words of the God they are devoted to - theirs is an act of faith, no different in its dedication to their ultimate goals than was the faith of religious martyrs from our past. They are servants of their deity, not of their personal, constituent or national interests. We must treat with them based on that reality. If we cannot persuade them, and we clearly cannot, and we cannot prosletize them, we must deal with them as the fanatical sect they are.
I'll repeat a question here, from an earlier post. The one basic question for government is simple - whose interests are you to serve? The answer for Iran is not the same answer that would apply in the West. They serve the command interests of their religion, above all else. We err when we think otherwise.
And we probably have only 2 years to accomplish all this! If Trump wants a legacy, he should get cracking but he has been mesmerized by Qatari & Saudi wealth/bribes.
Instead of fracturing us into our demographic pods, perhaps Musk et al should devote their propaganda tools into educating their audience into the realities of the Islamic conquest and its sequelae—sharia law and its 9 year old brides … and worse.
Exactly . Treat the Islamic regime like ISIS . Root out the IRGC and its sub units with the Israelis and destroy them - use the Kurds if necessary ( only give them a state after as promised ) . Then completely destroy Hezbollah and Hamas aswell ( taking a few Gazans with them if necessary to get the job done ) . Then deport all remaining Gazans and Judean / Samarian radicals to arab countries - this is essential, if redevelopment in Israel is to be completed satisfactorily . I am very surprised Trump / Netanyahu don’t apply this , to prevent a’forever’ war settling in .
Like the Chinese Communist Party, the Islamic Republic and especially the IRGC are international criminal organizations. Unlike the CCP, they prioritize their ideology over maintaining control of the state and probably even control of the population. They don't require stability to continue pursuing their goals.
