were the Somali people in the US in the streets celebrating the 4th of July? No they were not. If they love Somalia so much and want to celebrate their beloved country then they should pack up and go to Somalia. Free your land in your land and do not expect Americans or America to do it for you.

Why hasn’t Omar been deported already?

Some years back I had the amazing opportunity to spend annevening with Col.Danny Mc Knight. Small, selected group o good people. No cell phones or camras allowed. He described the raining and prep in the group he lled to go to Somalia and recaptre the prisonevs taken when the atack happened. My blood boiled hot as he described how our own US Gummit-up ordered, at almost the last possible minute, he had to cut his response attack group in two, leaving 1/2 behind. He really wanted to abandon the mission, but his conscience would not allow him to, as the end surely awaiting the men whom they were going to recapture and reascue would certainly die, tortured by their Somali captors.

His descriptions on the people who had captured the US soldiers seemed overly harsh. In the years since, as I have observed the Somali "community" here in the US, INnow know he was overly gentle in his description.

I would encourage anyone "in limbo" on this to wah the movie Black Hawk Down. HE actually helped direct that bit o cinema to make sure it was an accurate portayal on the event and rescue, including the portrayal o the Somalis involved. Every timeI read the antics o Ill Han the Omar and her compatriots/co-conspirators, I wonder HOW LONG it will be until they all are sent back to whence they came. With prejudce. .
