As a Catholic, I believe it is the institution not the religion that has been corrupted. In many ways it was corrupted from the start but that doesn’t have to break your relationship with God. I just choose not to give my money to the church anymore. If they make a change in the right direction like appointing Cardinal Sarah as pope, then I will return.
