Naïveté, willing blindness, suicidal empathy, stupidity, maybe a combination of all four, seem to be motivating the French (also the British and all of Europe).
I saw a street interview a few days ago and a woman was saying that she did not support the U.S. military action in Iran. The interviewer asked what she would suggest instead and her response was that we should just sit down and “have a conversation” with the Iranians. I’m not making that up. This is the level of stupidity of the average leftist. I don’t think we can overcome it.
