Barak's Assault on Beit HaShalom, the House of Peace, in Pictures

It would be nice say that Barak's assault on Beit HaShalom, the House of Peace, legally purchased by its Jewish owner, was unprecedented. Unfortunately it is a repetition of the brutal tactics that left wing governments in Israel have used time and time again in their attempt to crush Zionism in Israel, while posturing as strongmen by beating up a few families trying to live in their homes, to compensate for their refusal to confront Arab terrorism.

The pictures you will see may look like IDF soldiers, but they are not. The same Border Police and Yasam thugs, without nametags, were brought in to do the dirty work. Just as at Amona.
As of this time, there are over 50 wounded, some like Nadia Matar were beaten with batons while on the ground. This was how Haaretz described the assault on the families of Beit HaShalom "At 2:30 P.M., security forces burst through the doors of the House of Contention, firing stun grenades and tear gas. The element of surprise was perfect: In the living quarters, mothers prepared lunch for their children. Within a matter of minutes, the calm was interrupted by children screaming, "evacuation, evacuation." Nadia Matar rose from her chair, but before she managed to reach the door, was kicked down by members of the police special forces unit, Yasam".

Shosh Shiloh, Daniella Weiss' secretary, picked up a megaphone and repeatedly exhorted the evacuation forces to take care not to injure children. Weiss, who tried to resist the evacuation, and who was marked by the police as "an inciter and a provocateur," was immediately arrested when the operation commenced.

Matar, the leader of Women in Green, put up the most stubborn resistance, prompting officers to employ a considerable amount of force against her. She suffered injuries to her back and neck and was subsequently taken to hospital, but not before she barked at the soldiers: "If you would have acted with such efficiency to free Shalit, he would have been home long ago."

Beit HaShalom was cleared of its Jewish inhabitants, and in a fitting symbolic gesture, this photo shows the Magen Davids being whitewashed and scrubbed away.
The "victory" over a few hundred Jews in Beit HaShalom that the Anti-Zionist left which controls Israel is celebrating, is a victory for Fatah and Hamas, for the Arab terrorists which lay claim to Hevron.
