The blame should be put square on the notion of a welfare state, and then on the shoulders of politicians of all stripes and persuasions to turn a blind eye to the consequences, economically and culturally, and who subsequently played political and budgetary legerdemain with tax revenues, not daring to even hint at first, exposing the fraudulent nature of social security, second, stressing that it employs force, and third, patronizing the millions of citizens who claim entitlements. I frankly don’t care about the gray panthers or the baby boomers. They had a chance to examine the fraud of social security, Medicare, and all the other programs that usurped their rights and confiscated their wealth. They can starve and do with less. It’s what they condemned me to do, and they’re of my generation. They believe it’s my duty to be a slave or indentured servant so that their “entitlements” can be paid. They’ve got another thing coming to them.Edward Clinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12160209827969614964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11368628.post-39043189116889227082011-05-20T17:54:41.216-04:002011-05-20T17:54:41.216-04:00silent,

I long for the clear description of the solution. The only one I know of is national repentance to the acknowledging of the truth, but I am overwhelmed at the reality that your description is more a prophecy than and solution. How do we reverse the mess? What are the steps that we can take to clean up the mess? We are facing the very real possibility of this horrible president being re-elected not because he is good for America, but because America has lost connection with the God who gave them a reason for their existence. So, there is no unity in resolving the problems because even though God's laws, statutes and judgments contain the answers, there is not enough people who know his laws, statutes and judgments to bring their wisdom and understanding to bear on the public conversations.silentnomore9https://www.blogger.com/profile/04581905704380323969noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11368628.post-5301032567382425212011-05-19T23:02:35.701-04:002011-05-19T23:02:35.701-04:00God help us.God help us.careyrowlandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17958687878367659875noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11368628.post-32239807081481164872011-05-19T16:14:38.920-04:002011-05-19T16:14:38.920-04:00That's the underlying problem. An insane system can go on working, but only at a higher cost to the people living under it.Daniel Greenfieldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13575285186581875356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11368628.post-10834668838857192522011-05-19T15:12:26.591-04:002011-05-19T15:12:26.591-04:00You got to the heart of the matter. You got to the heart of the matter.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11368628.post-47715619620126956892011-05-19T13:20:56.375-04:002011-05-19T13:20:56.375-04:00Dramatic being the key word here.
