So a big question is:...Branding - you're right. So a big question is: how do we brand ourselves, so we rank high - maybe even higher - in the branding wars. This isn't a joke response. For instance, I did a rap piece, where I spoke as Paul Revere - only instead of the British are coming, I had the Qu'ran is coming.

Just now I've put together a teleseminar series, interviewing 20 people who are exploring Islam and speaking out about what they're finding. A big impulse is because we're so horribly branded - you know the names - by the mainstream media. So my big question was: who are we as people?

Come take a look, by the way (no charge):
http://WorldTruthSummit.comElsahttp://worldtruthsummit.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11368628.post-26096053549230208482012-09-03T17:53:44.289-04:002012-09-03T17:53:44.289-04:00JWM: I have cable now but there's only on news...JWM: I have cable now but there's only on news channel I watch (not MSM) because it it interesting and one of the male host acually eshuts up and lets his guests speak for as long as 4 minutes. It seems to me that the RNC could not have picked more lackluster and clueless candidates than Bush 1, Dole, and McCain. Yes, they were war heroes, but most americans of voting age were not even born when these guys were heroes.China beach and mash were in re-runs and any other war themed tv show was on a cable/satellite channel. Palin was the lipstick on the oinker. In addition to the marketing and branding aspect, it looks to me like these elections are already set up in advance. When someone comes along and upsets that apple cart, we get a dubious recount. Who keeps voting in the same people like Pelosi, Reid, Feinstein, etc? Just wondering here in LaLa Land.SoCal Observernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11368628.post-81497424402443721712012-09-03T00:53:33.919-04:002012-09-03T00:53:33.919-04:00Daniel,

This is why we often fail to recognize illiteracy when we meet their victims, and generally underestimate their number.

The same applies to the flamboyant characters to whom we can unguardedly grant authority they have not deserved, simply on the basis of their personal charm, or perhaps more precisely their supreme ability to fake merit in general and competency in particular. Does it enhance my self-image?"

Those two statements pretty well sum up the main appeal of Modern Liberalism/Progressivism. Libfilth in the "blue" Liberal states give but a pittance to charity while those in the conservative "red" states give many times more, but it is those arrogant, self-important little busybodies in the blue states that suppose themselves to be the more charitable and enlightened, mostly because they spend endless hours telling each other how much better they are than their red state counterparts. "We are better because we say we are" isn't much of an intellectual underpinning for the self-styled saviours of the universe, now is it?

"Smearing Hillary Clinton, McCain and Palin poisoned the well. They retained a die hard demographic, but made those voters who watched the news, instead of doing their own research, who were casual consumers of politics and didn't really understand the practical differences between both parties too well, uncomfortable with the McCain\Palin ticket. Not for substantial reasons, but insubstantial ones."

But that is the entire schtick (and raison d'etre) for the Libfilth criminals who call themselves the journOlist cabal, and of the Libfilth MSM in general. The attacks on every aspect of American society by the Libfilth using those tactics are literally everywhere. Look at the movies, television and the distilled and concentrated Libfilth disinformation known as the evening news. The above-the-fold casual consumer of (dis)information is the most likely to absorb the Libfilth lies, and also the most likely to suffer from them by becoming invested in those lies of the Libfilth and, through the ballot box, allowing those lies to become public policy. This is the only power the Libfilth MSM and the little journOlista ReifenStalinists have, and it is quite tenuous. Libfilth self-delusions of being heroic Don Quixote tilting at the invidious conservative windmills are not only amusing, they are hysterical.

This is the real war. Get busy removing the Libfilth from their pulpits, or accept subjugation by the next Libfilth strongman who will emerge if (it) has not already.
Mr EDnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11368628.post-53068792239751247282012-09-02T06:42:54.599-04:002012-09-02T06:42:54.599-04:00I live in the Chicago land area.
