My favorite school kneels before the game - they say the Lord's Prayer. Are they good? Ranked #3 in the US right now.

I watch PBR - Professional Bull Riding.

My wife and I watch a lot of PGA Golf. Very clean sport.

We watch college football and I watch auto racing.

Anyway, there is much besides the NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL. A line had been crossed with the SJW act and the continuous posturing regarding mostly imagined wrongs. My wife turned on the TV and saw that the World Series was on, and started watching. I live in the Garden Center of North America, Portage la Prairie Manitoba. Instead of the usual talking heads calling the plays and doing the colour we had Toronto Blue Jays staff, led by Buck Martinez, calling the game.
How refreshing. no political bullshit, no "Whitey is at fault", no take a knee at the anthem, just straight forward baseball, by a pair of announcers who knew the product, the players and most importantly the audience. I enjoyed the series from that point right to the end. The ONLY bucket of cold water came during the presentation of the trophies. First stupid comment, and the off button was hit. I do not watch the NBA, self serving jerks. The same is said for the NFL and unfortunately the NHL as well. These leagues are advised to take a page from the Canadian network that carried the World Series's playbook. They need the TV audience much more than the audience needs them, as already proven.Doug Hornbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11332523340503739346noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11368628.post-33397578906117365772020-11-19T16:36:35.982-05:002020-11-19T16:36:35.982-05:00They priced and politicized themselves out of exis...They priced and politicized themselves out of existence. ...The obsessive fixation to a local pro team never
made sense. The players aren’t from here, nor
are they anything a kid should emulate. For a kid
to forsake productive goals for the pipe dream of
pro sport stardom is a tragic waste.

The degenerate overpaid players and corrupt sponsors
did us a favor by making the pill so unmistakably
bitter. Spit it out. Play the game yourself; cheer
your kids in the fresh air.

CharlieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
