Do to demand, do to quick capital/investment payoffs, high return. Not all the time, everywhere, but in general. Now the US is a slow pay, low return in anything the government has its hands in. And the rest will follow. They never pause to think about what this world would look like... or have the courage to realize that power is not constant - it shifts and moves, like liquid. Without any regulation one gets "Unsafe at any speed"cars (made in America) or lead paint containing toys (made in China). Without any organized labour you get sweat shops and exploitation with 18 hour work days (both formerly in America and now in China). Like always it's the seemingly unstoppable momentum in the growth of any regulating bureaucracy that at a certain point starts to cause the problems. An only exception I know here is Switzerland with it's regulated society but with a small and extremely efficient bureaucracy and lot's of individual freedom yet with a fairly present amount of "social control" and amongst unique in Europe, large numbers of privately owned guns yet extremely low crime numbers! That America is still an "out of the box"thinker entrepreneurial society with a potential to re-invent itself and China a copy-cat society, is derived from their history with complete individual freedom in the starting time of the USA and almost complete serfdom in China's past and still hardly any liberty today. The main point for America is: stop expansion of government and stop curbing individual's freedom under the guise of National security.mindRidernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11368628.post-56311531298769092672011-01-19T23:52:08.078-05:002011-01-19T23:52:08.078-05:00The Eagle has landed , and not too well either.
