The other two were concerning the inept Republican party. Contrary to my needing psychiatric help for my principled opposition to the current administration it is the same administration that should seek help. Lets review Captain Queeg's lost summer of self inflicted controversies and squandered opportunities. He started off with a protracted attack on four members of Congress. He then went to deriding the city of Baltimore as rat and rodent infested, he had his anti immigration rhetoric echoed in a massive by the El Paso shooter, followed by his trip to Dayton and El Paso dividing the country instead of healing it, the faltering economy because of an ego driven trade war with China is growing acrimonious and finally his whipsaw diplomacy at the Group of 7 meeting which left allies uncertain of America's leadership and the President alienated. This incompetent, indecisive, intolerant, ineffective behavior is based on braggadocio, lies and conspiracy theories that are interested in the truth only so far as it is unwavering, in fidelity in so far as it is unthinking, and in judgment only so far as it is uncritical.

The Conservative Curmudgeonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11368628.post-70787249997295677782019-09-04T10:35:44.374-04:002019-09-04T10:35:44.374-04:00"Their idea of the free press looked a lot li..."Their idea of the free press looked a lot like a low-tech internet and had nothing in common with a handful of giant corporate monopolies declaring that they are a journalistic priesthood serving the public interest."

Indeed.
