Sprinklers rotate over dying lawns and glorious fireworks rise into the sky over a American million cities, towns and villages.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EBut Rep. Ilhan Omar, Rep. Rashida Tlaib, and a bunch of other leftists would like to turn July into Muslim American Heritage Month.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E“As we continue to see an uptick in anti-Muslim hate, it is important we recognize the resiliency and accomplishments of Muslim Americans with a formal resolution,” Rep. Omar claimed.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EExcept that July was already designated the National French-American Heritage Month. \u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cdiv class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"\u003E\u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/--JW_7nmik_Y\/YQ9qTNTqLpI\/AAAAAAAATZQ\/3Kl93BP0gdgESWoyQJVgZnpq4s76dFargCNcBGAsYHQ\/s724\/image_2021-08-07_222324.png\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"\u003E\u003Cimg border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"444\" data-original-width=\"724\" height=\"196\" src=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/--JW_7nmik_Y\/YQ9qTNTqLpI\/AAAAAAAATZQ\/3Kl93BP0gdgESWoyQJVgZnpq4s76dFargCNcBGAsYHQ\/s320\/image_2021-08-07_222324.png\" width=\"320\" \/\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E\u003C\/div\u003EI’m not clear on what Muslim accomplishment in America took place in July (another month later in the year comes to mind), but we celebrate our revolution on July 4th and the French celebrate theirs on July 14th. The French supported our revolution and we supported theirs (at least until it turned into the orgy of social justice killings and insane decrees that leftist revolutions always degenerate into whether it’s on college campuses or in countries).\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\"Muslim-Americans have played a major role in shaping our nation for centuries,\" Rep. Andre Carson, insists. \"Designating July as Muslim-American Heritage Month is a wonderful opportunity to honor the trailblazers who came before us.\"\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EMuslims played little role in America until the 1970s with the embrace of Islam by black nationalist opponents of the United States and the onset of violent terrorist attacks like the Hanafi Siege in D.C. While the next phase of the 1619 Project will no doubt produce its alternative history which will reveal that Alexander Hamilton bowed to Mecca and Dolly Madison wore a burka, there’s little doubt among sane historians that the French were here first.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThere are 12 million Americans of French descent and while the last time a congressional resolution on French-American Heritage Month was passed was back in 2002, that’s because Franco-Americans are much less vocal about occupying cultural territory than Omar and Tlaib. The resolution noted that the French had established parts of the United States, that Lafayette had fought for American independence, Tocqueville had explained America, and L'Enfant had laid out Washington D.C. (3 out of 4 ain't bad). The French were here first.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThough perhaps Rep. Carson can explain more of the “major role” that Muslims played “in shaping our nation for centuries” and how it exceeds that of the role played by the French.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIf it weren’t bad enough that Omar, Tlaib, and Carson were spitting in the faces of 12 million French-Americans, they’re also hijacking Disability Pride Month. The Hamas Caucus could try to move Muslim Heritage Month to June, but that’s already Gay Pride Month. And when Islam and gay people meet, the latter tend to get thrown off tall buildings and then stoned to death. \u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAugust however is pretty clear aside from being National Immunization Awareness Month.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EBut, much like the Ground Zero Mosque had to be near the site of the greatest impact Islam has had on shaping American history, Muslim Heritage Month has to take over July. \u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ENo other month will do.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ERep. Rashida Tlaib had already introduced a resolution for April as Arab Heritage Month where it displaced Scottish American Heritage Month. (But what contribution have the Scots ever made to America compared to the centuries of Omar and Tlaib’s shaping of the country?) \u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EDoes Tlaib really need two months or a sixth of the calendar year? Heritage months are generally ethnic, not religious. But the Hamas Caucus wants two months to start with. Having seized one month from the Scots, they’d like to hijack another one from the French.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EOne of them has to be about violating the separation of church and state by promoting a religion.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAnd hating America.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EJuly means fireworks, barbeques, and patriotic songs. But Rep. Rashida Tlaib would like it to be about honoring \"the achievements, contributions and sacrifices of Muslim Americans in the face of rising anti-Muslim hate.\" Or, according to Tlaib, it will “provide an opportunity to foster religious tolerance nationwide and combat misinformation directed at the Muslim community.”\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ELike every theme month lately, this seems destined to be another ‘America Sucks’ month. But it will come packaged with an extra share of Dawah or Islamic missionary activity while informing us that Islam has nothing to do with terrorism and anyone who disagrees should be beheaded.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ELos Angeles, which rushes wokely where angels fear to tread, is already celebrating Muslim Heritage Month through its libraries with Linda Sarsour’s biography and Rep. Omar’s biography. Don’t just think of Muslim Heritage Month as displacing July 4th when it’s also a great gimmick for selling otherwise unsellable books. And even as the Taliban retake Afghanistan and prepare to put those women who took off their burkas and hijabs in their place, Muslim Heritage Month is being used to promote The Proudest Blue: A Story of Hijab and Family to small children.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIndeed, the resolution itself promotes the hijab by insisting that \"women who wear the hijab, or headscarf\" are discriminated against in America. The resolution then goes on to celebrate accused domestic abuser Keith Ellison and then, after appropriating July, tries to also appropriate the ice cream cone. It’s one thing to hijack the Fourth, but ice cream cones too? \u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E“Whereas Syrian immigrant Ernest Hamwi’s invention of the ice cream cone is a practical confection with a near ubiquitous presence in American life,” the resolution falsely claims.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EWhile the ice cream cone is indeed a most ubiquitous and practical confection, the ice cream cone was \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/americacomesalive.com\/ice-cream-cones-the-true-story\/\"\u003Einvented and patented\u003C\/a\u003E by Italo Marchiony: an Italian-American immigrant. \u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EFirst, Omar and Tlaib displaced the French and the Scots, and then the Italians. \u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EErnest Hamwi, a Syrian immigrant, did play a role in the ice cream business, and he patented his own cone decades later in the twenties, but he was Christian, not Muslim. Ernest was one of the many Syrian-Lebanese Christians who fled Muslim persecution and a famine to come to the United States in the beginning of the twentieth century. He married into a local American family and was buried in Valhalla Cemetery. His stepson, Arthur C. McGuffin, took over his company.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAs July wanes and Omar and Tlaib try to appropriate the month and even its ice cream, replacing swimsuits with hijabs and the Declaration of Independence with the demonization of America as a racist Islamophobic society that only has two months to celebrate their heritage, instead of twelve, let’s remember the heroic American patriots who fought to keep us free.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe only heritage month we truly need is the heritage of our freedom from all tyrannies.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIncluding the one American soldiers were fighting from the “shores of Tripoli” in the First Barbary War of 1801 to the one that they are still fighting today against terror in our homeland.\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Ci\u003E\u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/sultanknish.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003EDaniel Greenfield\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;is a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center. They failed to wipe out the newly reborn nation,  but Jordan occupied part of Jerusalem and ethnically cleansed its Jews.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cdiv class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"\u003E\u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-oPoNjv0HzWU\/YKni1FtxPKI\/AAAAAAAATP0\/-3Cd7I6bWt8D1z72hIa0TO4eRDgkmtsCQCNcBGAsYHQ\/s601\/Fleeing%2Bthrough%2BZion%2BGate.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"\u003E\u003Cimg border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"601\" data-original-width=\"594\" height=\"320\" src=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-oPoNjv0HzWU\/YKni1FtxPKI\/AAAAAAAATP0\/-3Cd7I6bWt8D1z72hIa0TO4eRDgkmtsCQCNcBGAsYHQ\/s320\/Fleeing%2Bthrough%2BZion%2BGate.jpg\" \/\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E\u003C\/div\u003EAmong the former Jewish neighborhoods was a small area named Shimon HaTzadik or Simon the Righteous after a high priest who became famous for talking Alexander the Great out of putting up an idol in the Temple. The Arab Muslim colonists who had occupied the area however called it Sheikh Jarrah after an associate of the Iraqi invader Saladin.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ESaladin had invaded Israel some 1500 years after Shimon HaTzadik’s death. His associate settled in Jerusalem and died there. A mosque was built over the house of the invader, Jarrah, which later gave its name to the neighborhood when the Husseini family set up shop there in the 19th century. Hitler’s Mufti, Haj Amin al-Husseini, grew up in the first house in the neighborhood.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ESeven years after he got a pledge from Hitler to invade and kill all the Jews, the Islamic leader tried to finish the job with the Army of the Sacred Jihad backed by thousands of Muslim Brotherhood Jihadis. Aside from blowing up the newspaper that would later be known as the Jerusalem Post, the Jihadis performed poorly in battle and fell apart when their commander, another Husseini, was killed trying to cut off Israeli supply convoys to the siege of Jerusalem.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe Jordanians desecrated the synagogues of East Jerusalem, used Jewish tombstones to pave roads, and seized Jewish property through their Custodian of Enemy Property.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIn 1956, UNRWA worked with the Jordanian occupiers to settle “Palestinian refugees” in this Jewish neighborhood. The UN agency had been entirely dedicated to caring for the Arab Muslim settlers who had failed in their invasion of Israel and was settling them in violation of international law in the homes of the Jewish residents who had fled the illegal occupation.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EOnce the UNRWA had “resettled” its “refugees” in homes stolen from their Jewish owners through ethnic cleansing, it deemed them to no longer be refugees. The actual refugees however were the Jewish residents who had their homes stolen by the UNRWA.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe only thing more disturbing than a UN agency collaborating in ethnic cleansing was that after Israel liberated and unified Jerusalem, the illegal Arab Muslim occupiers of the homes not only refused to leave, but their right to remain in homes stolen from their Jewish inhabitants was taken up by the UN and the international community. Not to mention a lot of lawyers.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIt took the original Jewish owners five years to even win legal rights to the homes in court. But they didn't actually get the property back. In an attempt to avoid just the kind of international incident going on now, the Israeli authorities brokered a deal in which the Muslim squatters would pay rent and accept the legal rights of the Jewish owners of the trusts.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe rent on the homes was a fraction of what they would go for on the open market. But even that money was never actually paid. The next three decades were spent trying to evict the illegal Muslim settlers who wouldn't pay rent or leave.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe recent court decision on evictions, which was used by Hamas and the PLO as a pretext for the war that they had been planning on starting anyway, is the latest in a string of legal decisions over these homes going back 50 years.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThese decisions came from independent courts, not the Netanyahu government, in a legal battle that began when he was a college student studying at MIT. There isn’t a single argument for why the Jewish trusts that owned the homes should have lost the right to them when Jordan invaded and seized those homes, or why the UNRWA’s decision to illegally collaborate in ethnic cleansing by settling members of an occupying nation in those homes was legal.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAll their arguments come down to shouting, “apartheid” and “ethnic cleansing” when the only time there was apartheid and ethnic cleansing in Jerusalem was under Arab Muslim occupation.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EEvery anti-Israel radical in public office from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez to Senator Elizabeth Warren, Senator Bernie Sanders, Rep. Rashida Tlaib, Rep. Ilhan Omar, and the rest of the gang have denounced evictions from ‘Sheikh Jarrah’.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\"We stand in solidarity with the Palestinian residents of Sheikh Jarrah in East Jerusalem. Israeli forces are forcing families from their homes,\" Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez tweeted.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\"The evictions of Palestinian families must not go forward,” Bernie Sanders ranted.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E“The Administration should make clear to the Israeli government that these evictions are illegal and must stop immediately,” Senator Elizabeth Warren declared. Despite being a lawyer, she declined to identify how the Israeli court ruling was \"illegal\".\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe Biden administration also got into the act.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E“We are deeply concerned about the potential eviction of Palestinian families in the Silwan neighborhood and in Sheikh Jarrah, many of whom have lived in their homes for generations,\" State Department spokeswoman Jalina Porter, a former cheerleader who had\u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.frontpagemag.com\/point\/2021\/01\/blm-ex-cheerleader-state-dept-spokeswoman-said-daniel-greenfield\/\"\u003E falsely accused\u003C\/a\u003E America of genocide, claimed.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe only way to argue that the homes were “theirs” is by recognizing the legitimacy of occupation and ethnic cleansing, at least when it’s practiced by Muslim invading armies.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe moral principle for which AOC, Sanders, Warren, and the State Department are fighting is that when Arab Muslims drive out the Jews and seize their homes, it’s their property now.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe entire legal basis for the court case by the squatters is their claim that the property had been given to them by Jordan’s Custodian of Enemy Property office. This claim has standing in Israeli courts which chose to wrongly recognize those seizures. And so the court cases have revolved around whether the squatters could ever prove that an illegal occupying power had transferred title to them during its ethnic cleansing campaign. The squatters couldn’t even meet this low bar because they were never given title to the homes, but the vicissitudes of local real estate law aside, there’s still the invasion, the illegal occupation and the ethnic cleansing.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EWhen AOC, Warren, Sanders, Tlaib, Omar, the UN, and the Biden administration treat the occupiers of Sheikh Jarrah as the rightful owners, they’re defending ethnic cleansing.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAnd it should be called what it is.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cdiv class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"\u003E\u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-2G-w-oPV44Y\/YKni5jCfJJI\/AAAAAAAATP4\/L2ovCS9bBQIGj5E1uQEjqTTZQExlBUsegCNcBGAsYHQ\/s601\/After%2BEvacuation.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"\u003E\u003Cimg border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"601\" data-original-width=\"592\" height=\"320\" src=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-2G-w-oPV44Y\/YKni5jCfJJI\/AAAAAAAATP4\/L2ovCS9bBQIGj5E1uQEjqTTZQExlBUsegCNcBGAsYHQ\/s320\/After%2BEvacuation.jpg\" \/\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E\u003C\/div\u003EThe fundamental issue at stake in Shimon HaTzadik and Sheikh Jarrah are crystal clear. Unlike some parts of Israel where territory changed hands in more complex ways, we know exactly what happened and why it happened. And those simple facts tell a story of the UNRWA’s complicity in the ethnic cleansing of Jews, not just today when it serves as a storehouse for Hamas missiles and an employment agency for Hamas propagandists, but back in the 50s.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EJews were ethnically cleansed from Jerusalem after an invasion and occupation. The United Nations, through UNRWA, violated international law by taking part in population transfer by an occupying power which had expelled the indigenous population. This is the charge that the UN and the anti-Israel politicians and media have repeatedly lobbed at Israel.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAnd they’re the ones guilty of it.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ETheir Sheikh Jarrah argument is that ethnic cleansing and occupation are moral and legal when Arab Muslim armies do it. It’s that Arab Muslim squatters who moved into Jewish homes in 1956 had gained an immutable moral right to live in them by 1967 that outweighed those of the Jewish trusts which had owned them since the 19th century.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThere’s no better way to show the hypocritical double standards of an anti-Israel movement that cries about occupation, ethnic cleansing, and apartheid while practicing those very things.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAOC, Sanders, Warren, the UN, the Quarter, the EU, and the Biden administration are demanding that the Arab Muslim occupation of Jerusalem continue. They are ordering a free country to overturn the legal ruling of a court in case that goes back to the 1970s because they believe that Arab Muslim occupiers have a right to live in Jerusalem… and Jews don’t.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThat’s what this was about in 1948. That’s still what it’s about in 2021.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe occupiers cry about the “occupation” and the ethnic cleansers cry about “ethnic cleansing” as they fight to bring back the state of apartheid that drove the Jews out of Jerusalem.\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Ci\u003E\u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/sultanknish.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003EDaniel Greenfield\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;is a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center. The hostility was fed by a succession of foreign powers, Britain before and after WW2, Germany in WW1 and WW2, by Russian during the Cold War, by Iran, Qatar, and Russia after the Cold War, but it's still innate.\u003Cp\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ETribal hostility is bad enough as even a brief look at Rwanda and African genocides, or those in the Balkans ought to show, but combine that with Islamic manifest destiny and you have a perpetual war.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EWhile the legal fiction that is the international community has kept on pressuring Israel to \"resolve\" the conflict with territorial concessions, providing the insurgency with dedicated territory has worsened it.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ENor have any of the nations or alliances pressuring Israel to resolve the conflict managed to do it.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe responses have ranged from integration and appeasement in America and Europe,\u0026nbsp; Russia's efforts to convince its Muslims that they have a common enemy in the West, and China's ruthless crackdown. What all these varying efforts have in common is trying to convince or compel a Muslim population to see itself as part of the local nation or empire, to bind its destiny to European liberalism, to the Han Chinese, to Greater Russia, or to American democracy, and not to a global Ummah of which it is a fragmented piece.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EIsrael's strategy of integrating the Arab Muslim population within randomly defined borders, convincing them to see themselves as part of the Jewish State, while treating those outside those borders as autonomous is even more paradoxical and contradictory than these same failed strategies.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe fragmented Muslim populations of the world are the remnants of an aspiring empire created by centuries of conquests and invasions. Islam convinces them to see themselves as part of that Ummah, a civilizational empire that is meant to encompass the world. Tribalism sharpens the edge of that religious hostility by giving it a personal edge and a familial aspiration.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ECritics say that Muslim terrorism kills more Muslims than non-Muslims. That's true, but not much of a defense.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EIslamic manifest destiny has traditionally destroyed Muslim societies comprehensively, but then again Roman imperialism and European colonialism destroyed their own societies quite thoroughly. Globalism usually destroys any society arrogant enough to be infected by the fever which is one reason why America is so endangered. It's also why China has survived for thousands of years by xenophobically turning inwards at key moments in its history. That's why China is likely to leave the scene within the next generation, taking its 'prizes' and going home, or will destroy its own society.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EIsrael doesn't have that option.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe Jewish State isn't suffering from an Islamic insurgency because it wanted to operate on a global scale, but because foreign invading powers, most notably the Syrian-Greeks and the Romans, imposed their dominion using Arab mercenaries. When Byzantium declined and fell, the barbarians they had been using to keep the peace turned on the Eastern Roman Empire, just as the barbarians Goths had turned on the Western Roman Empire, and assembled together a religion from the scraps of Judaism, Christianity, and assorted local pagan faiths based on their imperatives of conquest and domination.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe Islamic conquests failed to assemble any kind of global utopian empire. But then they never had a chance of doing that. They did however destroy countless peoples, eliminate many cultures, and create broken mirror images of the original Mohammedan Jihad with little emirates ruled by little Mohammeds. And they killed countless millions and ushered in a thousand years of tyranny and terror.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe fall of the Ottoman Empire revived Jewish hopes for reclaiming their homeland, but the Zionists had not counted on the endurance of that original war imperative or on the weakness of civilization.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAnd so the conflict continues.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EIt continues in Israel, in Europe, and in America, in Russia, and in China, and around the world.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cdiv class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"\u003E\u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-SolKYmy80m4\/YJwN_evt_rI\/AAAAAAAATEQ\/7qn6x9neVLoAOnaPOKndUMlYLO9GqiuQwCNcBGAsYHQ\/s322\/memri%2Berase.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"\u003E\u003Cimg border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"157\" data-original-width=\"322\" src=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-SolKYmy80m4\/YJwN_evt_rI\/AAAAAAAATEQ\/7qn6x9neVLoAOnaPOKndUMlYLO9GqiuQwCNcBGAsYHQ\/s320\/memri%2Berase.jpg\" width=\"320\" \/\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E\u003C\/div\u003EThe conflict has been particularly sharp in Israel because where Muslims are a minority in America, China, and (for a limited time before they become a majority) in Europe and Russia, they are a regional majority. And because of the strategic importance of the region, half the world has made it its business to intervene.\u003Cp\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EIsrael's current two major factional antagonists, Fatah and Hamas, are products of the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe Nazis shaped the Muslim Brotherhood and the Soviet Union shaped the PLO with their strategies, tactics, and organizations, so that Israel is fighting both the Communists and the Nazis in its own territory.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EBut underneath the overlay of Third World liberationism and genocidal nationalist antisemitism familiar from the Soviet and Nazi projects is the old Jihadist manifest destiny and its much older antisemitism.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAnd while National Socialism has yet to control a major government or play more than a marginal role in America or Europe (though not for a lack of effort by the new generation of 'Hipster Nazis' more familiarly known as the alt-right), Marxism is a major player in American and European politics.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ESo the campaign against Israel gets plenty of support from the Left. As does Islamic terror in general.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EIsrael faces a sharper version of the dual crisis of Jihad that the world does.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe first part of the crisis is an internal insurgency while the second part of it is the development of nuclear weapons by Islamic powers like Iran and Pakistan that can destroy civilization (aided and abetted by the familiar Russian, Chinese, and North Korean pipeline for Third World insurgencies).\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe Jewish State has adroitly managed to form a temporary alliance through the Abraham Accords with some regional traditional Sunni powers that have become alarmed at the threat of both of Shiite Iran and Islamist transnational ideological groups like the Muslim Brotherhood, but Iran and the Brotherhood have a direct insurgency operating on its soil.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ECombine that with the fall of the Trump administration and the rise of a pro-Iran and a pro-Brotherhood Biden regime in Washington D.C. and the current conflict was inevitable.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EBut it was inevitable anyway.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EIran, Qatar, and various other players have not been investing a fortune in Hamas and other terrorist groups just to have them sit on the money. After a certain number of years they start a war to test Israel's defenses, military and diplomatic, leading to chaos, carnage, and a pressure for more concessions.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThis time is no different.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cdiv class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"\u003E\u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-pLgNxh4tffg\/YJwOKft8AkI\/AAAAAAAATEY\/1BFI20-LTWcSTZYOGlrKQQbV9WK86B6ywCNcBGAsYHQ\/s825\/memri%2Bhamas%2Bworld.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"\u003E\u003Cimg border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"438\" data-original-width=\"825\" src=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-pLgNxh4tffg\/YJwOKft8AkI\/AAAAAAAATEY\/1BFI20-LTWcSTZYOGlrKQQbV9WK86B6ywCNcBGAsYHQ\/s320\/memri%2Bhamas%2Bworld.jpg\" width=\"320\" \/\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E\u003C\/div\u003EThe roots of the crisis are ancient, but they're also more recent. When confronting a civilizational Jihad, it takes only mistake. And a bad Israeli government mad that mistake in the 90s by agreeing to create an autonomous territory for the insurgents. Another bad government made another one a decade ago by withdrawing from Gaza and leaving it as a truly autonomous territory governed by Hamas.\u003Cp\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EBoth moves were based on a fundamental misunderstanding of the resulting consequences.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EModern Islamic governments pursue utopian socialist schemes using a corrupt ruling class, much like the Communists and the Nazis, resulting in corruption, economic disaster, and external conflict.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EHamas and the PLO\/Fatah, like ISIS, is no more capable of running a functional government.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EInstead humanitarian NGOs, in this case UNRWA, provide some basic services for the population while the Jihad forges onward to kill and kidnap its enemies operating much like organized crime.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E(A lot of Democrat inner cities run on the same gang warfare slash welfare state principle.)\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAutonomy never does anything other than expand and spread the crisis. Treaties just define the starting point for the next phase of the conflict. Negotiations are a theater for extracting the maximum amount of concessions as a starting point for the next war whether it's with Iran, the PLO, or any Jihadists.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EIsrael hasn't figured out how to resolve the problem. But neither has anyone else in the world.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAnd there may be no answer.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe world is facing a 7th century crisis and trying to deal with it through 21st century means.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ETo be modern means believing that all problems have answers whereas to be postmodern is to believe that the answer is to repent of our past. The modern approach has led to ceaseless negotiations while the postmodern approach has meant endless appeasement and apologies for our past misdeeds.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ENeither the modern nor postmodern way has done anything other than play into the hands of the Jihad.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ENetanyahu, like other conservative Likud leaders, has appeared modern while eschewing modernity's preference for pat solutions and postmodernity's apologies and appeasement. And so Israel has been living in a premodern moment, adapting rapidly to circumstances as it has in some ways throughout its modern existence. But that's a survival strategy and not a healthy one either.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EIsraelis tend to take each day as it comes.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EFlying El-Al is very different than flying normal airlines. Everything appears unready even minutes before boarding. The orderly process of boarding by class and status in most airlines is present only in theory as everyone rushes to get on board. It seems impossible that this whole thing should work or that the plane should take off in time. And yet it does, more reliably than most airlines, and works out.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThat's Israel in a nutshell. And it's a familiar observation for Americans in Israel.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EIsraelis are always in crisis mode and they take one crisis at a time, and what ought to be a shambles somehow turns around. It's frustrating to the modern mind and many Americans can't take it.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EYet Israel persists.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EBut that perpetual crisis mode, a legacy of thousands of years of Jewish history, may offer few lessons to the world. Crisis mode works until it doesn't. And then the failure can be catastrophic.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EIsrael has fought an almost impossible war bravely, gallantly, and dashingly, jumping from one innovation to another, and then being miraculously rescued with that familiar certainty that neither it nor the Jewish people could exist without a G-d who intervenes invisibly at crucial moments so that the survivors of the ashes of the death camps went on to defeat enemy armies and found a nation.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EBut the world needs a better answer.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cdiv class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"\u003E\u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-EFlZeXzrs0A\/YJwOhB4XoUI\/AAAAAAAATEk\/4c-1QtEC4r8rU0fBSPwhyW7SKTjA4yxcgCNcBGAsYHQ\/s2000\/memri%2Bjihad.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"\u003E\u003Cimg border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"1125\" data-original-width=\"2000\" src=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-EFlZeXzrs0A\/YJwOhB4XoUI\/AAAAAAAATEk\/4c-1QtEC4r8rU0fBSPwhyW7SKTjA4yxcgCNcBGAsYHQ\/s320\/memri%2Bjihad.jpg\" width=\"320\" \/\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E\u003C\/div\u003EThe answer may not be simple, but it begins with countries recognizing that they share a common problem and after generations of 'bargaining' with the Jihad, recognizing that we're all facing the same war, and that across cultures and even political affiliations, the West and the East, Right and Left, we may be enemies, but we also share a common enemy. Shannon Conley, an American convert to Islam, was busted after she began attending services at the Faith Bible Chapel of Arvada while wearing a Burka. Worshipers noticed her taking notes and making sketches, and contacted the FBI.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EConley told the FBI, “if they think I’m a terrorist, I’ll give them something to think I am.” Authorities found videos of Al Qaeda leader Anwar al-Awlaki and other Jihadist material.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E“Even though I supported a Jihad, it was never to hurt anyone,” she claimed in court.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAl-Awlaki, who attended Colorado State, headed its Muslim Students Association, and preached at the Denver Islamic Society, casts a long shadow over Colorado even after his death.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EBut Arvada really hit the big leagues of Islamic violence when a member of a large Syrian Muslim family went on a killing spree in a supermarket in Boulder, Colorado.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAhmad Al-Issa’s massacre at a King Soopers supermarket claimed 10 lives. And it was one of a series of ugly incidents involving the Syrian Muslim who had a history of accusing non-Muslims of Islamophobia. One of his classmates was even violently assaulted by the Syrian immigrant who claimed that he had been called a terrorist.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIn the latest development, Ahmad Al-Issa has been charged with not only 10 counts of murder, but 34 counts of attempted murder. His lawyers and the media have attempted to argue that he is mentally ill. That same argument was used in Shannon Conley’s case.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAnd that of countless Islamic terrorists.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ECrazy or sane, the Al-Issa clan has been something less than a blessing to Colorado.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAhmad’s older brother, Imad, had been \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/03\/27\/us\/boulder-gunman-alissa.html\"\u003Earrested twice\u003C\/a\u003E on weapons charges and the police were called \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.scribd.com\/document\/500038022\/Alissa-criminal-mischief\"\u003Eduring an altercation\u003C\/a\u003E with his common law wife to whom he was married under Sharia law, but not American law. The woman in question has since passed away.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe Al-Issa clan had migrated to America from Raqqa, later the capital of ISIS, the year after September 11, and started out in Aurora. The Aurora council voted unanimously last year to continue resettling refugees. Aurora is a hub of the Muslim presence in Colorado.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EColorado’s Muslim population more than doubled in a decade and stands at an estimated 70,000. Much of that population comes from the same basic region as the Al-Issa clan.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe Colorado Muslims Community Center, the largest mosque in the state, is based out of Aurora. Its Imam, Karim Abuzaid, was compared by one Muslim \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.meforum.org\/islamist-watch\/53171\/karim-abuzaid-and-the-letter-they-didnt-want-you\"\u003Eto Anwar Al-Awlaki\u003C\/a\u003E.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAl-Awlaki keeps coming up because the dead Al Qaeda leader had headed the Muslim Students Association at Colorado State which was a project of the Muslim Brotherhood. ICNA is\u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.investigativeproject.org\/7952\/ipt-report-exposes-icna-radical-domestic-agenda\"\u003E entangled with\u003C\/a\u003E the Brotherhood, and Abuzaid had appeared at ICNA events.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EColorado’s biggest mosque \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.meforum.org\/islamist-watch\/60753\/radical-denver-imam\"\u003Ehosted the worst Islamists\u003C\/a\u003E like \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverthenetworks.org\/individuals\/siraj-wahhaj\"\u003ESiraj Wahhaj\u003C\/a\u003E, an \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/mynbc15.com\/news\/local\/terror-in-alabama-and-the-family-connection-to-the-1993-world-trade-center-bombing\"\u003Eunindicted co-conspirator\u003C\/a\u003E in the World Trade Center bombing, who had told followers, “You don’t need nuclear weapons or even guns! If you have faith in Allah and a knife! If Allah wants you to win, you will win!” and “if 6-8 million Muslims unite in America, the country will come to us.” \u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/stream\/ReassessingDenversCounteringViolentExtremismProgram\/Reassessing%20Denver%27s%20Countering%20Violent%20Extremism%20Program_djvu.txt\"\u003EKarim Abuzaid\u003C\/a\u003E has delivered lectures urging Muslims to convince Americans to \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2017\/07\/19\/censoring-moderate-muslims\/\"\u003Eaccept Sharia law\u003C\/a\u003E, and defended Sharia punishments such as flogging and stoning. Videos of Abuzaid’s rants boast titles like, \"Why EVERY Muslim Believes in SHARIAH \u0026amp; JIHAD\".\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\"O Allah, make this Ummah follow the rightly guided way, in which the obedient people are honoured and the hypocrites and the infidels will be humiliated and the sinners will be exterminated,\" he\u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/news.acdemocracy.org\/american-imam-invited-to-speak-in-toronto-says-muslims-will-fight-kill-jews\/\"\u003E had prayed\u003C\/a\u003E at the mosque.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAnd he had promoted at least one Islamist text \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/news.acdemocracy.org\/us-imam-taught-at-salaheddin-islamic-centre-book-that-calls-for-jihad-against-jews\/\"\u003Ewhich urged\u003C\/a\u003E \"propagation of Islam or call to Islam until all countries embrace it and make it their way of life. If someone makes any obstacle in the way of propagation, Muslims are allowed by Allah to fight them until Islam becomes the governing authority.\" Last year he had declared tha\u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.memri.org\/reports\/colorado-imam-karim-abu-zaid-macrons-comments-about-islam-non-muslims-schemes-destroy-islam\"\u003Et the Caliphate\u003C\/a\u003E was coming back.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIt’s unknown if the Al-Issa family had any connection to the Colorado Muslims Community Center, but considering its size and proximity, a half hour drive away from the Al-Issa family home, and Abuzaid’s prominence in the community, they very well might have utilized its facilities or listened to his hateful rants.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe Islamic Center of Golden, the closest mosque to the Al-Issa family home, features an ICNA booklet touting Sharia aimed at non-Muslims. It promotes a video by \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.frontpagemag.com\/fpm\/2020\/03\/interfaith-dialogue-icon-omar-suleiman-sharia-andrew-g-bostom\/\"\u003EImam Omar Suleiman\u003C\/a\u003E who had \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.frontpagemag.com\/fpm\/2020\/02\/imam-bernie-rally-had-called-destruction-israel-daniel-greenfield\/\"\u003Ecelebrated terrorism\u003C\/a\u003E, and defended the Sharia practices cutting off the hands of thieves and forcing women who had been captured in Islamic raids into\u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.frontpagemag.com\/fpm\/2020\/02\/imam-bernie-rally-had-called-destruction-israel-daniel-greenfield\/\"\u003E a life of sex slavery\u003C\/a\u003E.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E“God willing on this blessed night as the 3rd Intifada begins, the beginning of the end of Zionism is here. May Allah help us overcome this monster, protect the innocent of the world, and accept the murdered as martyrs,” he had tweeted during Israel’s fight against Hamas terrorists.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ESuleiman has also \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.algemeiner.com\/2017\/07\/31\/best-friends-linda-sarsour-and-muslim-brotherhood-supporter-omar-suleiman\/\"\u003Emade it very clear \u003C\/a\u003Ethat he’s a supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe Islamic Center of Golden also recommends books by Tariq Ramadan, the Islamist grandson of the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood who has been accused of sexually exploiting and \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.frontpagemag.com\/fpm\/2021\/04\/cair-and-us-islamists-have-metoo-problem-daniel-greenfield\/\"\u003Eabusing numerous women\u003C\/a\u003E under the guise of Islamic law, Hamza Yusuf, a contraversial Islamist figure, and two books by Jonathan Brown, a Muslim convert who had \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/archives.frontpagemag.com\/fpm\/rape-and-slavery-no-campus-will-condemn-daniel-greenfield\/\"\u003Edefended Islamic slavery\u003C\/a\u003E, arguing, “I don’t think it’s morally evil to own somebody.”\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe Islamic Center also has an arrangement allowing it to collect a percentage of purchases made by its worshipers and supporters at King Soopers. The mosque is popular with college students, especially foreign students, and Ahmad Al-Issa, who later shot up a King Soopers, might have felt comfortable there among other young foreign Muslims around his own age.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EWhat influence did this Islamist environment have on the Boulder supermarket killer?\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAhmad Al-Issa’s lawyer, his family, and the media have tried to claim that he’s suffering from some unspecified mental illness. And yet even the media’s reporting reveals a common thread of paranoia and hatred toward non-Muslims by the supermarket mass murderer.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EWhere did that come from? That’s a question no one is asking or is being allowed to ask.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EArvada, Aurora, and the other Colorado cities and jurisdictions that went all in on refugee resettlement have shown no willingness to question the poor decision they made in 2020. And as Biden tears open the refugee cap to maximize the open borders flow of terror immigrants to this country, there will be more massacres like the one at King Soopers.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThose officials who aided and abetted the disaster will work hard to shut down any questions.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ELaw enforcement and the media are currently fascinated by the “extremely large size” of Ahmad Al-Issi’s magazine while showing no interest in what motivated the Syrian immigrant to kill 10 Americans. The New York Times headlined its story about the Al-Issa clan as, “An Immigrant Family Caught Up in a Distinctly American Tragedy”.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EBut was it an American tragedy or a ‘distinctly’ Syrian tragedy for Americans?\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAs Biden dismantles the ban on travel from terror states and reopens the refugee resettlement machine, there will be many more tragedies in America made in Syria, Iraq, and Pakistan.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAnd no one will take a look at the environment of mosques and imams, listen to their hate and hear their predictions of an apocalyptic war between Islam and the rest of the world, and consider whether our refusal to see the war waged against us is the true ‘American Tragedy’.\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Ci\u003E\u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/sultanknish.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003EDaniel Greenfield\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;is a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center. That's convenient considering Omar and Tlaib's own history of racism and antisemitism, and support for the sorts of Islamic bigotry and violence that groups like \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverthenetworks.org\/organizations\/council-on-americanislamic-relations-cair\/\"\u003ECAIR\u003C\/a\u003E, which supports the letter, have become known for.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cdiv class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"\u003E\u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-9EEF3Ve8YYQ\/X97ETrHRKrI\/AAAAAAAASps\/euWWEquxMaAg5kY4JDvuAvsw988xlazdACNcBGAsYHQ\/s1608\/ilhan_omar.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"\u003E\u003Cimg border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"905\" data-original-width=\"1608\" src=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-9EEF3Ve8YYQ\/X97ETrHRKrI\/AAAAAAAASps\/euWWEquxMaAg5kY4JDvuAvsw988xlazdACNcBGAsYHQ\/s320\/ilhan_omar.jpg\" width=\"320\" \/\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E\u003C\/div\u003EThe letter spotlights one violent incident, but then goes on to call for a ban on \"anti-Muslim content\", \"anti-Muslim animus\", \"anti-Muslim bigotry\", and finally, \"anti-Muslim content and organizing\" on the platform, without ever explaining what exactly they want to ban.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EConsidering the letter’s call for, \"100 percent proactive detection and removal of anti-Muslim content\", the safe assumption would be that they want to ban everything critical of Islam.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThat's a disturbing attack on the First Amendment coming from 30 House members.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EDemocrats have repeatedly pressured Facebook and other social media companies to remove speech they politically disapprove of, whether by President Trump or other conservatives, eroding the thin line between private companies acting on their own initiative and government officials conspiring to violate the First Amendment by banning certain kinds of political speech.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAfter multiple hearings, legal proposals, and legislative threats, it’s no longer possible to view Facebook’s censorship of political speech as anything other than government censorship. When enough pressure by government officials has been applied to a company to censor certain kinds of speech, the company’s decision to censor speech becomes government censorship.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E30 House members would now like Facebook to censor criticism of Islam and political protests against Islamic terrorism. One of the few examples of anti-Muslim content in the House letter was a political protest against the Islamic Society of North America’s 2019 conference.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThat was the conference which \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.frontpagemag.com\/fpm\/2019\/09\/bernie-sanders-attends-isna-convention-islamists-daniel-greenfield\/\"\u003Eincluded an appearance\u003C\/a\u003E by two Democrat presidential candidates, Bernie Sanders and Julian Castro, whose forum was moderated by Salam Al-Marayati, the head of MPAC, who had defended Hamas and Hezbollah. Also participating in a round table at the conference \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.frontpagemag.com\/fpm\/2019\/09\/bernie-sanders-attends-isna-convention-islamists-daniel-greenfield\/\"\u003Ewas Imam Siraj Wahhaj\u003C\/a\u003E, an unindicted co-conspirator in the World Trade Center bombing, who has defended the Islamic mandate to kill gay people.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThis is the sort of information that AOC, Omar, and 28 other House Democrats, want banned.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EHouse Democrats trying to shut down protests targeting their own candidates is a blatant violation of the First Amendment which was meant to prevent exactly that kind of thing.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAnd the party of social justice wants to stop Americans from protesting against an Imam who says things like, ”Brothers and sisters, you know what the punishment is, if a man is found with another man? The Prophet Mohammad said the one who does it and the one to whom it is done to, kill them both.” What happens when ‘anti-Muslim content’ meets anti-gay content?\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe 30 House Democrats don’t want to talk about any of this which is why their letter doesn’t.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EEven Omar and Tlaib can’t quite openly call for blasphemy regulations for social media, but they conveniently leave terms like “anti-Muslim content” undefined and then demand that Facebook outsource the suppression protocols to \"senior staff focused on anti-Muslim bigotry issues\" backed by diversity training on \"civil rights issues and common words, phrases, tropes or visuals used by hate actors to dehumanize and demonize Muslims\".\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAnd if that's not enough, there's an independent third-party review of Facebook’s compliance.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ECAIR and other Muslim Brotherhood groups would be brought in to define what “anti-Muslim content” is and then senior staff, approved of by CAIR and its allies, would set moderation policies to suppress “tropes” used by “hate actors” like Jihad, Sharia, Taqiyya, and terrorism.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ECartoons of Mohammed, mentions of blasphemy, hate, and terrorism would all be censored.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIt's not hard to spot what sort of content they're after.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe House Democrat blasphemy and terror letter has been endorsed by CAIR and the\u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.americanthinker.com\/articles\/2009\/05\/islamic_speakers_bureau_backed.html\"\u003E Islamic Networks Group\u003C\/a\u003E, but beyond these traditional Islamist groups, it has the backing of pro-terror groups like Code Pink and JVP, and assorted anti-war organizations. These groups are less concerned with blasphemy, but very focused on preventing America from fighting terrorists.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ECAIR had demanded the removal of Mohammed's image from the Supreme Court, and more recently\u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.cnsnews.com\/news\/article\/patrick-goodenough\/cair-paris-attack-marginalize-both-isis-type-extremists-and-anti\"\u003E compared\u003C\/a\u003E magazines publishing cartoons of Mohammed to ISIS. A board member of the Muslim Brotherhood group \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.investigativeproject.org\/575\/cair-supports-imam-jalils-hateful-views\"\u003Ehad insisted \u003C\/a\u003Ethat, \"[t]he right to free speech is not absolute.\"\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe Founding Fathers and the Constitution disagreed.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe letter also cites a Muslim Advocates report which listed examples of \"anti-Muslim content\" that they wanted Facebook to censor that included President Trump's call for a ban on migration from Islamic terror nations, and a Trump campaign ad which described AOC, Omar, Tlaib, and Pressley as socialists who had made \"anti-Israel, anti-American, and pro-terrorist remarks\".\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAOC, Omar, Tlaib, and other Democrats have signed a letter demanding that Facebook censor political speech critical of them. That’s a grotesque assault on the First Amendment.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAnother example of “anti-Muslim content” from the Muslim Advocates report was an Israeli Facebook user who had written negatively about Omar, Trudeau, and Corbyn.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EOmar responded to this by ranting that \"foreign interference – whether by individuals or governments – is still a grave threat to our democracy” and that “malicious actors operating in a foreign country, Israel”, were “spreading misinformation and hate speech to influence elections in the United States.\" Even though there’s no evidence that elections were actually influenced.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EBut, once again, the kind of “anti-Muslim content” that Omar and her political allies seem to want to ban involves criticism of her and of them. The “grave threat” here is coming from Rep. Omar.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe letter claims that its signers also want Facebook to remove “any hate content directed at a religious or ethnic group”, but Rep. Ilhan Omar, one of the letter’s signers, has been the House’s worst offender, tweeting antisemitic content, including her infamous “Benjamins” tweet.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIf House Democrats were serious about removing hate, they would have removed Rep. Omar.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EFacebook already engages in extensive monitoring and censorship. This isn’t about taking down bigotry, but about removing political speech and content that Islamists consider blasphemous. It’s also about suppressing the political organizations that combat Islamist hate and violence.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIt’s no coincidence that the type of political speech that Omar, Tlaib, Carson, and other House members want to censor casts a negative light on their own political alliances with Islamists, their bigotry, and their ugly views. And they would like Facebook to do the censoring for them.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe more Democrat officials lay out the kind of censorship they would like internet platforms to perform, the more the First Amendment’s guarantee of free speech becomes a dead letter. And this letter, signed by 30 House Democrats, is a new threat to our freedom of speech.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAmerica does not have blasphemy laws. And politicians are not allowed to ban speech they don’t like.
