And it’s not over.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EWith the early numbers coming in, over a \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-10289355\/Americas-deadly-year-Philadelphia-murders-NYC-LA.html\"\u003Edozen cities \u003C\/a\u003E\u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/katv.com\/news\/nation-world\/authorities-seeing-record-breaking-homicides-nationwide\"\u003Ebroke their \u003C\/a\u003Emurder records in 2021. Cities across California are continuing to show \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/capitolweekly.net\/amid-pandemic-california-murder-rate-shows-shocking-rise\/\"\u003Edouble digit \u003C\/a\u003Eincreases. Philly broke past 500 murders and in response Soros DA Larry Krasner, whom many blame for the crime wave, assured tourists that \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/patch.com\/pennsylvania\/philadelphia\/da-larry-krasner-says-tourists-shouldnt-fear-coming-philadelphia-holidays\"\u003Eeverything \u003C\/a\u003Ewas fine and they should feel safe coming to the City of Brotherly Love.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\"We don't have a crisis of lawlessness. We don't have a crisis of crime. We don't have a crisis of violence,” Krasner, newly reelected with a mandate to keep giving criminals a pass, insisted.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cdiv class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"\u003E\u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/blogger.googleusercontent.com\/img\/a\/AVvXsEiK2Z4pmbxKb2m2-V1BOvtqlI5cGSOobBdTjk_ow6WHDAFNQGUsFzTMeWNmC3QdiNb_bE5QT93VzASeBPeqJFz4JW_YEn_WNsxPGcWgMkRQ0ymMq8jWCxMUmaYPXEa7GSWpOxVF-bRv27Yz2fExzvT73NUuudLFp0ZbhfkG65greYmudJT-vDc=s853\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"\u003E\u003Cimg border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"476\" data-original-width=\"853\" height=\"179\" src=\"https:\/\/blogger.googleusercontent.com\/img\/a\/AVvXsEiK2Z4pmbxKb2m2-V1BOvtqlI5cGSOobBdTjk_ow6WHDAFNQGUsFzTMeWNmC3QdiNb_bE5QT93VzASeBPeqJFz4JW_YEn_WNsxPGcWgMkRQ0ymMq8jWCxMUmaYPXEa7GSWpOxVF-bRv27Yz2fExzvT73NUuudLFp0ZbhfkG65greYmudJT-vDc=s320\" width=\"320\" \/\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E\u003C\/div\u003EThat was too much for even Philly’s Democrat establishment.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\"It takes a certain audacity of ignorance and white privilege to say that right now,\" former Mayor Michael Nutter \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.inquirer.com\/opinion\/commentary\/larry-krasner-michael-nutter-philadelphia-violence-20211207.html\"\u003Eblasted\u003C\/a\u003E Krasner, \"I have to wonder what kind of messed up world of white wokeness Krasner is living in to have so little regard for human lives lost, many of them Black and brown, while he advances his own national profile as a progressive district attorney.\"\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\"I’d like to ask Krasner: How many more Black and brown people, and others, would have to be gunned down in our streets daily to meet your definition of a 'crisis?'\"\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EKrasner belatedly apologized, after critics, many of them, like Nutter, black, attacked him for gaslighting them, insisting that he had just said “some inarticulate things”. Why did Krasner think he could offer up a crazy lie like that? He had just won his reelection race \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.frontpagemag.com\/point\/2021\/11\/under-soros-da-philly-hits-500-murders-daniel-greenfield\/\"\u003Eby\u003C\/a\u003E 69% to 31%.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe proponents of the leftist pro-crime policies that led to this nightmare keep telling crazy lies.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ERep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claimed that, “A lot of these allegations of organized retail theft are not actually panning out.”\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EWhite House spokeswoman Jen Psaki falsely argued that the pandemic was the \"a root cause\" of the crime wave.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe legalization of theft, the elimination of bail, the revolving door arrests and releases of criminals, the mass jailbreak of violent felons and gang members to “protect them” from the pandemic, reduction in sentences, diversion programs, refusals to prosecute certain offenses, police defunding, and the rest of the catalog of criminal justice reform are the real root causes.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIn typical leftist fashion, a radical transformation was enacted through a set of policies disguised as reforms based on an even more radical understanding of how society should work. And, much as with critical race theory or wealth redistribution, we’ve been bombarded with pop propaganda, but virtually no discussion of what the underlying ideology behind it believes.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ECriminal justice reform was based on the conviction that crime was due to social inequity, that criminals were innocent victims of an uncaring society, that the police were the latest incarnation of slave catchers, that prisons were the new slavery, and that crime prevention was racist.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EPro-crime ideologues argued for legalizing property crimes since property was theft, and for substituting restorative justice therapy sessions for prison sentences for rapists and killers. They called for abolishing police and prisons because once society is transformed, there will be no more crime because the root cause of crime isn’t individual choice, but systemic racism.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThis isn’t some fringe idea by a few nuts. It’s what the Squad believes. That’s why Rep. Tlaib introduced a bill that called for \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/axios-hbo-swan-rashida-tlaib-federal-prisons-928179f0-d093-40ff-898f-67f62c4d97a3.html\"\u003Efreeing\u003C\/a\u003E all federal prisoners. It’s what key elected officials in cities like New York City, Minneapolis, and Chicago used as their guiding light when advancing the disastrous policies that wrecked their respective cities.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAnd yet the media has offered virtually no exploration of these beliefs to mainstream audiences.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EInstead the media lied about the most basic things like the meaning of “defund the police”, denying that it meant the elimination of police departments, and justifying assorted “abolitionist” measures like opening up prisons as one-time responses to the pandemic. Even now the media continues echoing the false claims of the Democrats that the crime wave is a pandemic crisis.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAnd that’s a lie.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe crime wave has followed political patterns. That’s why commercial burglaries and gang murders are up while rape is down. Those crimes that Democrats still take seriously, like rape, are not in crisis mode. It’s those crimes that they either don’t take seriously, like property crimes, or those that they enable, like murders by the career criminals they freed, that are booming.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ECriminal justice reform is not the first time that radical leftists imposed a dramatic policy program with virtually no public explanation of what it was or how it would work. The few times that media talking heads actually asked Democrat officials, like those in Minneapolis, who would deal with crime if the police were no longer around to respond to calls, the responses were nonsensical.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAnd yet no media outlet was willing to bottom line the agenda of criminal justice reform by admitting that its proponents did not believe that crime needed to be “fought” to begin with.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\"If you are a comfortable white person asking to dismantle the police I invite you to reflect: are you willing to stick with it? Will you be calling in three months to ask about garage break-ins? Are you willing to dismantle white supremacy in all systems, including a new system?\" Minneapolis City Council President Lisa Bender tweeted.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EWhat was this new system? No one was willing to discuss what exactly it entailed.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EBut the system is plain to see. Watch a video of a thug hauling away trash bags full of stolen merchandise from a CVS. Or more videos of porch pirates brazenly walking away with packages. At the local supermarket, staff have been told not to interfere with shoplifters.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe new system abolishes private property by legalizing theft.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIt’s a simple proposition that the media refuses to speak out loud because the vast majority of the public would never go along with it. That’s why statements by criminal justice reform politicians and police defunding slogans can never be followed to their logical conclusion.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe new system abolishes private property and treats gang violence as a social problem to be met with wealth redistribution, community intervention, and other means of bribing the thugs.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe crime wave is not a baffling phenomenon, but exactly what the defunders wanted.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThousands of people have died as a result of a leftist social experiment. And thousands more will go on dying because it’s a lot easier to destroy public safety than it is to restore it.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAnd that won’t change until we start telling the truth about what’s really happening.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAs horrible as the Soros DAs, AOC, and the tip of the spear for criminal justice reform may be, they couldn’t have done their work without the complicity of mainstream Democrats and Republicans. Under the Obama administration, countless Republicans, local and national, jumped on the bandwagon of criminal justice reform contending that our prisons were too full.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EEven now Republicans are arguing that they could do a better job of freeing criminals than the Dems. Just like they could do a better job of carrying out all the other leftist political agendas.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ECriminal justice reform was never anything other than a stalking horse for the radical transformation of American society by enabling and legalizing crime. Now that the Democrats have officially denounced the filibuster as the work of Jim Crow (even though it actually originated with anti-slavery Whigs like Henry Clay attacking pro-slavery Jacksonians), it’s time for them to live up to their standards and reject the filibuster.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E“The Jim Crow Filibuster Must Go,” the Center for American Progress hectored. \"End the Jim Crow Filibuster Now,\" MoveOn clamored.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EMartin Luther King III demanded that Senator Sinema see to it that \"the Jim Crow filibuster does not stand in the way\" of Democrat plans for permanent majority rule. Because if there's anything his father stood for, it was the unambiguous right of the majority to rule over the minority.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EObama, as usual, got all of this started when he insisted that, \"if all this takes eliminating the filibuster, another Jim Crow relic\".\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EConfusingly, Democrats keep relying on this Jim Crow relic, most recently when they blocked Senator Ted Cruz’s sanctions on Putin’s European pipeline possibly because, to play by their rules, Vladimir has tapes of them with micturating prostitutes in a Moscow hotel room.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIt’s unfathomable that at a time when we are courageously toppling the statues of anyone who lived in the 19th century (never mind the 18th century) that Democrats cling to this vestige of Jim Crow in order to protect Russian pipelines, illegal aliens and abortion, and also to stop Senator Tim Scott’s police reform legislation. Truly the Dem filibuster is a relic of Jim Crow.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EDemocrats, who have called this dreadful issue to our attention, must lead the way.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EWhen they are in the minority (which is likely to happen quite soon) they should make it clear that they will refuse on principle to make use of the filibuster to oppose Republican legislation.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ETo do otherwise would make them complicit in Jim Crow, systemic racism, and other social justice buzzwords that I am sure they were wholly and entirely sincere about invoking.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe Democrats must make it clear that they will have no part in the Jim Crow filibuster starting today. Even if they can’t abolish it, they must show their moral superiority by refusing to trifle with it. If there’s anything that the civil rights movement teaches us, it’s that the minority must never object to the rule of the majority. And by refusing to employ the Jim Crow filibuster, they will live up to the true legacy of the civil rights movement by abandoning minority rights.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIt’s what Martin Luther King Jr. would have wanted. According to them.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EOnly the most ridiculous racists would believe that there is any value whatsoever in allowing minorities to obstruct the will of the majority and as we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr’s birthday, we should be mindful of his words in his Letter From a Birmingham Jail, “A just law is a code that a numerical or power majority group compels a minority group to obey”.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EActually, King wrote that, “An unjust law is a code that a numerical or power majority group compels a minority group to obey but does not make binding on itself.” But, much like his “content of character” quote and the filibuster, that’s inconvenient. So we’ll just get rid of it.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe Democrats, as the momentary majority, would like to bind Republicans by the filibuster, without being bound by it. And then once out of power, they would like to revive the filibuster. And then opposition to the filibuster will be the new Jim Crow after the filibuster was the old Jim Crow. That fits King’s definition of an unjust law that a tyranny “does not make binding on itself”.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAnd if the Democrats want to disprove it, all they have to do is reject the Jim Crow Filibuster.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIf the filibuster really is, as Common Dreams, the Sierra Club, the Associated Press, the For the People Project, Robert Reich, the Democracy Initiative, Common Cause, Rep. Pramila Jayapal, and Senator Brian Schatz falsely claim, the \"Jim Crow Filibuster\", how can Democrats possibly justify continuing to make use of it?\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EWould Democrats make use of Jim Crow water fountains or buses? How can they use the Jim Crow Filibuster then?\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIf Senate Democrats won't listen to these idiots and front groups for radical billionaires, won't they listen to Rob Reiner who pleaded with senators to, \"get rid of the Jim Crow filibuster, and save Democracy. We’re watching it slip away before our eyes.\" As an oppressed white California millionaire famous for playing a television buffoon, he knows what he’s talking about.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EDemocrats must live up to their principles and turn their backs on the Jim Crow Filibuster.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EOtherwise people will begin to suspect that they’re pathological liars exploiting the traumas of one of the most difficult eras in our history in order to seize power and make some money.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAnd that would not be very nice.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EFrom this day forward, if a Democrat makes use of the Jim Crow filibuster, he or she must be forever known as a Jim Crow Democrat. After having given themselves ample warning of its racism, their determination to continue making use of the filibuster can be seen as nothing less than complicity in the systemic racism that has characterized their party since its origins.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThis is no laughing matter.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EDemocrats have shamelessly weaponized racism on both sides of the table. They have shown absolutely no hesitation in hurling the worst possible accusations of racism if there’s something in it for them. And they’ve done it in the most nakedly hypocritical ways possible. Bobby Rush, the former Deputy Minister of Defense for the Black Panthers, announced that he’s joining his fellow Democrats fleeing the sinking ship ahead of the midterms, not for political reasons mind you, but in order to spend more time with his grandchildren.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\"I don’t want to be a historical figure to my grandchildren,\" Rush said. That stands to reason considering his history.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ERush was recruited by Stokely Carmichael, a \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/archives.frontpagemag.com\/fpm\/senator-booker-quotes-violent-racist-who-urged-daniel-greenfield\/\"\u003Ederanged bigot\u003C\/a\u003E who would later describe Adolf Hitler as “the greatest white man”, to form a Black Panther chapter in Chicago.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\"We plan to arm the total black community so when the pigs come down on us, we will be equal,\" Rush once bragged. \"We advocate offensive violence against the power structure... we are at war and the Minister of Defense must be in charge.\"\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAs a House Democrat, Rush, suffering from criminal hypocrisy and a broken mirror, falsely claimed during the BLM riots that President Trump “wants to instigate a race war”.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EA month after two police officers were murdered, the cops finally raided a Black Panther apartment where Fred Hampton, the chairman of the Chicago chapter, was holed up. This time around, the Panthers got the worst of the exchange. Rush, who had been there hours earlier, emerged at Jesse Jackson’s service, claiming that he had been marked for death by the cops.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E“If I was out on the street, they would have shot me down,\" he claimed.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E(Unlike Hampton, who was the subject of a recent Hollywood hagiography, Judas and the Black Messiah, the two murdered officers, Patrolman Frank Gershon Rappaport and Patrolman John Gilhooly, one Jewish and one Irish, have not been lionized by Warner Bros and the Oscars.)\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ERush went into politics, but never left behind his affinity for his racist hate group.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIn 2019, Rush \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/repbobbyrush\/status\/1202321336904892417?lang=en\"\u003Ehosted\u003C\/a\u003E a special on the \"legacy of Fred Hampton\" featuring a propaganda poster of Malcolm X next to Mao, and claims that the Black Panther was “murdered”. In 2021, he appeared at a black nationalist conspiracist forum that included a Black Panther who had admitted to pouring \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/dems-hosted-ex-black-panther-implicated-in-torture-for-event-where-panelists-praised-cop-killers\/\"\u003Eboiling water\u003C\/a\u003E on a teenager who was being tortured and then murdered.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\"I have a lot of fun ribbing other elected officials now and other members of the Central Committee because they all came up through the Young Democrats,\" Rush told an interviewer. \"My training was in the, was in the, was in the Black Panther party. And we've been regular democrats for a while now. So I figure my training was probably a little bit better than theirs.\"\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ESay what you will about the Young Democrats, but they don’t train members to pour boiling water on people whom they suspect of being insufficiently loyal to the socialist cause. Yet.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe Mao portrait is no accident.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EWhen Rush visited Cuba, he called his meeting with Castro, “like listening to an old friend.”\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E“In my household I told Castro he is known as the ultimate survivor,” he said.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ERetiring from the House after three decades of blight and misery in the black community he claimed to represent even as he managed to \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/politics\/rep-bobby-rush-paid-wife-550k-campaign-funds-kicked-190k-church-founded\/\"\u003Epay his wife $550K\u003C\/a\u003E for, among other things, consulting services, not to mention his brother, sister, and son, Rush is a mini-Castro.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ELike his old Communist friend, Rush is the ultimate survivor and a revolutionary hypocrite.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E“The Chicago Fraternal Order of Police is the most rabid, racist body of criminal lawlessness by police in the land. It stands shoulder to shoulder with the Ku Klux Klan then, and the Ku Klux Klan now,\" Rush ranted during the BLM riots.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThat same month, the former Black Panther official, complained that Chicago cops, the men he called the modern KKK, sat eating popcorn in his office instead of stopping Black Lives Matter rioters from looting his office.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E“One was asleep on my couch in my campaign office,” Rush whined at a press conference.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EWorse still, “they even had the unmitigated gall to go and make coffee for themselves and to pop popcorn, my popcorn, in my microwave while looters were tearing apart businesses within sight and within their reach.”\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAnd most horrifying of all, the popcorn they were eating was almost certainly white.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIt’s tragic when the KKK won't lift a finger to stop racist thugs who view his Black Panthers as role models from looting their former Deputy Defense Minister's office. Where’s the respect?\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ERep. Rush had schizophrenically pivoted from claiming that police efforts to stop the BLM riot in D.C., “reminded me of 1968, when the police were as responsible for the rioting,” to complaining that the police were eating popcorn instead of cracking BLM heads outside his offices.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EBut the former Black Panther leader has never let consistency get him down.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAs a Deputy Minister of Defense, he was busted on gun charges. He named his son Huey, after the Black Panther leader, Huey P. Newton, only to see his son follow in Newton’s footsteps by getting shot and killed during an argument over drugs.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAnd then Rep. Rush began campaigning for gun control. He might have done better to give his son a different role model. Or perhaps dissuade him from going down the path that led him to becoming the target of a druglord named “Ball” who wanted $110,000 in cocaine from Huey.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EHuey P. Newton, the original Huey and Minister of Defense for the Panthers, was shot and killed by a member of the Black Guerrilla Family during an argument over a cocaine deal.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe former Deputy Minister of Defense who had advocated, “we need to arm ourselves”, and had served time on gun charges, blamed not his son or his decision to use the Black Panther thug as a role model for him, or even drugs, but the firearms that were used in the argument.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E“Ultimately, I would like to see the manufacture and possession of handguns banned,” Rush \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverthenetworks.org\/individuals\/bobby-rush\"\u003Edeclared\u003C\/a\u003E.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAs a radical revolutionary, Rush wanted guns to fight the power structure, but as a member of the political power structure, his interests lie with disarming the public.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIf Rush can’t manage to dynastically hand over his seat to his son Flynn Rush, a failed candidate who was paid by his father’s campaign, he’ll at least be able to spend more time doing interviews about the glory days in a violent hate group. Eric Swalwell, who may have been cheating on Fang Fang with Vladimir, and threw in a generous $171,000 to the DCCC, as part of the over $545,000 \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/@RobletoFire\/lobbyist-for-russian-pipeline-donated-over-540k-to-democrats-since-2017-ddc0a47ea1c0\"\u003Edonated to \u003C\/a\u003Ethe Democrat political machine.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe top Dem bundler is \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.opensecrets.org\/news\/2021\/05\/lobbying-push-russian-pipeline\/\"\u003Ereportedly\u003C\/a\u003E lobbying on “issues related to the U.S. position toward the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, including potential financial sanctions affecting the project.”\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ESuddenly, Schumer, who was accusing the GOP and Trump of being in bed with Putin, and demanding that they vote on sanctions, was refusing to hold a floor vote on Russia sanctions.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E“Millions of Americans will continue to wonder if the only possible explanation for this dangerous behavior is the possibility that President Putin holds damaging information over President Trump,” Schumer had smeared back then. What damaging info does Putin have on Chuck?\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EPresident Trump, at the time, had urged that, “we should start an immediate investigation” into Schumer’s ties with Russia, and described him as a “total hypocrite”. That is an understatement.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThree years ago, Schumer was clamoring that putting off sanctions on Russia, “is an extreme dereliction of duty by President Trump, who seems more intent on undermining the rule of law of this country than standing up to Putin.” That describes Schumer in a nutshell.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EBut not just Schumer.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E“With him, all roads lead to Putin,” Pelosi had ranted. “I don't know what the Russians have on the president, politically, personally, or financially.”\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ERoberti plowed $46,100 into Pelosi's Victory Fund. He also appears to have maxed out his \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.opensecrets.org\/federal-lobbying\/top-recipients-details?cycle=2020\u0026amp;id=N00007360\"\u003Econtributions\u003C\/a\u003E to the House Majority Leader and gave $5,000 to her PAC to the Future.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThat’s not too shocking since Pelosi \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/tipsheets\/politico-influence\/2013\/06\/after-farm-bill-failure-anti-hunger-group-inks-gop-firm-burton-kamins-inks-two-bangladeshi-lobbying-blitz-explained-washingtonians-celebrate-roberti-nuptials-011044\"\u003Etoasted Roberti \u003C\/a\u003Eand his wife at their wedding.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E“Trump denial of Russian collusion rotten at core and doomed to unravel,” Senator Richard Blumenthal had tweeted. “Expect more serious convictions and indictments early in 2018 as the Special Counsel climbs the ladder of criminal culpability.”\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe serious convictions and indictments, along with the criminal culpability, unraveled.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EMeanwhile Roberti maxed out his donations to Blumenthal.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\"Yet another reason to call for an independent prosecutor into the #TrumpRussia ties,\" Senator  Catherine Cortez Masto tweeted after having accused President Trump of endangering national security.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ERoberti also maxed out his contributions to Masto.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ESenator Patty Murray had called for \"a special prosecutor to examine the Trump campaign's ties to Russia\".\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EMurray, like Schumer and Mastro, got the maximum amount from the Nord Stream 2 lobbyist, along with Senator Maggie Hassan, who had also demanded a special prosecutor for Trump.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ESenator Cory Booker alleged that President Trump had \"betrayed\" his role and that he was \"weak and submissive\" to Putin.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe New Jersey hack, who always has one hand out, got a cool grand from Roberti.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EBut the real lobbying effort to stop the Nord Stream 2 sanctions is coming out of the Biden White House with top associates of the notoriously corrupt politician pushing Senate Dems to let Putin have his pipeline. And that’s after Biden shut down the Keystone XL pipeline for America.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EBiden falsely claimed that waiving sanctions on Putin's pipeline was in “U.S. national interests.\"\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ERoberti is a longtime Biden pal who boasts of having advised him on his 2008 presidential bid and reportedly \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/ctmirror.org\/2012\/08\/10\/robertis-father-and-son-lobbyist-and-candidate\/\"\u003Eflew him out \u003C\/a\u003Eto his hometown during the campaign.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAnother Biden donor and lobbyist working for the foreign companies that partnered on Nord Stream 2 signed a check to Biden’s victory fund that Democrats \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.opensecrets.org\/news\/2021\/05\/lobbying-push-russian-pipeline\/\"\u003Erefused to return\u003C\/a\u003E until they were shamed into doing so by the New York Post.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E“Where are the Republicans who know in their heart the president is giving away the store to Vladimir Putin?” Schumer had demanded.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EWhere are the Democrats who know Biden is giving away the store? Cashing their checks.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ESecretary of State Blinken claimed that refusing to sanction Putin's pipeline would “rebuild relationships with our allies and partners in Europe.” Had a Trump administration cabinet member said something like that, we'd already be in the middle of three investigations, one by the FBI, another by the CIA, and a third by Rep. Adam Schiff's poolboy, but no one cares now.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAfter years in which Schumer could talk about nothing so much as Putin, he hardly has anything to say about the Russian ruler over the past year. That’s understandable considering that Biden joined Putin’s phony arms pact when President Trump wouldn’t do it, and refused to sanction Nord Stream 2. If Schumer has anything to say about Putin now, it’s, “Da, Comrade.”\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThere’s no more talk of special prosecutors and no suggestions that Putin is rigging elections. The issue, despite media lies, isn’t money. The per student spending in major cities like New York City ($28.000), Chicago ($16,000), and Los Angeles ($24,000) remains staggering. But as with any number of government bureaucracies from the Pentagon to the homeless crisis, the money doesn’t buy anything except an expansion of the system that is rapidly gobbling up all the cash put into it.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EThe more schools are in crisis, the worse their standards become. And the worse the standards, the worse the crisis because the system exists to perpetuate the crisis for political reasons. Suburban schools aren’t better because they spend more money, but because constant parental involvement keeps the same educational forces that destroyed urban schools at bay.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EThe crisis finally arrived at suburban schools with the pandemic. Administrators and officials rapidly dismantled standards, shut down any kind of accountability, moved classes to Zoom, and went on with the business of demanding more money to solve a crisis they had created.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EAbsenteeism skyrocketed, grades dropped or were dropped, and teachers were free to jettison standards and focus on woke political agendas while neglecting any actual education.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EThe urban ghetto model had finally come to the best suburban schools not by way of race, as the Left and their media often insisted, but by cutting parents out of the loop and letting the system have its way. This was not simple laziness and greed by the teachers’ unions, though that was a definite added bonus, but a plot to destroy educational standards nationwide.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EThe plan is largely succeeding as colleges that formerly valued the SAT and other admission testing metrics discard them as part of their equity plans, and school districts eliminate gifted and talented programs, and write new rules discouraging firm grades and deadlines, allowing tests to be retaken and essays to be rewritten as often as it takes to get students promoted.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003ESome of this is happening under the pretext of the pandemic and some as part of the extended commemoration of George Floyd’s drug overdose death, but all of it is part of an existing plan to move education away from standards and toward politics. In the new educational standards you don’t need to learn grammar, to understand how a cell divides, or what 2 + 2 equals. The new standards all involve students learning to become activists who advocate for leftist views while reporting each other for thought crimes to woke social media lynch mobs.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EThe criticisms of critical race theory in classrooms are valid, but they often miss the forest for the trees. Teaching children that they’re born racists or victims because of their skin color is horrifying, but it’s one component of a larger educational program that has rebooted civics as a program for radicalizing students into a Red Guard to take over every institution they enter.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EThe program isn’t new and the speed with which corporations fall into line behind woke agendas testifies to its previous existence and its growing effectiveness. Many suburban parents were relatively comfortable with having their children turned into militant environmentalists, pro-abortion, or gay rights activists. Some are now drawing the line not at civil rights activism, but at a classroom process that explicitly demeans their children and takes away their future.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003ETheir partial awakening is welcome, but it’s a little late and extremely incomplete.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EMany parents did not care what their students learned as long as the system appeared to be putting them on track for college and success in life. Now the system has begun announcing that it doesn’t believe in success and that their children don’t deserve it anyway. The educational standards forming the basis for the future they had been paying extortionate property taxes to maintain were suddenly being dismantled before their unbelieving eyes.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EThe Virginia gubernatorial election and the elections in New York and New Jersey are the first shock waves of outrage hitting the system. Youngkin didn’t just run on critical race theory, as some social media echo chambers from out of state thought, but on building up schools because suburban parents are still convinced that more money for education will fix everything.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EPutting more money into the public school system empowers the destroyers dismantling educational standards for equity’s sake and electing their political allies to public office.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EFor every dime that goes to increasing educational standards, 90 cents will be used to hire more administrators, implement new equity plans, funnel more cash to educational consultants and giant textbook publishers, and raise teacher salaries which will put more cash and clout in the pockets of the unions bent on destroying the system. The hole in the boat will only get bigger.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EThe problem with American education is not a lack of money. The public school system will be no better at educating students if it were “funded like the military”, as activists argue, than the military is at winning wars. Just as in wars, what’s missing isn’t resources, it’s the objective.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EThe American school system, like the rest of our institutions, is in an uncomfortable state of transition between its traditional goals and values, and the new radical agendas of the Left. The educational system, as leftist educrats protest, is still built around a traditional approach to education, but it has been captured from the top down and the bottom up by radicals who want to radicalize not only the subject matter of education, but its purpose and method.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EThe pandemic provided them with a pretext for “Cloward-Pivening” the system by destroying educational standards across the system, not just in isolated areas. By refusing to teach students, the teachers’ unions all but ensured that they would fail to meet educational standards. And, as in the ghettos, every failing student became part of a constituency for dismantling educational standards. And those parents who had struggled to keep their children learning during the pandemic were expected to abandon standards in the name of equity.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EThe same corrupt system which had destroyed education insisted that parents were racist and selfish for refusing to understand how hard it was for all the other students. But, just as in urban schools, it was hard for those students because the system had deliberately made it so.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EThe public school system broke itself and, like union boss Randi Weingarten, blamed the breakage on everyone else, while insisting that the destruction be institutionalized.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EAnything else would be systemic racism.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EBut the only systemic racism in schools is educational wokeness. Many suburban parents embraced wokeness alongside standards because it helped give their children a competitive advantage over Asian, Indian, and other high-performing minorities. The corrupt bargain fed into a college admissions system that valued social justice activism over academic brilliance.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EThe ideal balance between wokeness and standards made suburban white liberal students more competitive than their high performing or underperforming minority counterparts, not to mention academically gifted students in more conservative rural areas. But now the woke devil must have his due. And the price is not only the competitive advantage, but all of education.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EStudents who want to get ahead in the new system have to develop an appetite for woke activism, for turning in their peers for politically incorrect thoughts, for marching in rallies, discovering a sexual interest in their own sex or deciding that they are really the opposite sex.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EAnd the system is performing brilliantly as students conform to its radical expectations.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EParents have been slow to understand the sheer scale of what is happening and conservatives have been equally slow to spell it out in clear and unambiguous language. After Virginia, education is on the radar and Republicans are planning to use it as a model for winning the battle and losing the war by promising to outspend Democrats on public school systems.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EThis is a strategy for short term political victories and catastrophic long term cultural defeats.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003ERepublicans are right to assert support for strong educational standards. That’s an area where Democrats have become vulnerable after tipping their hand. But restoring standards to a system that is becoming institutionally opposed to them is more than a matter of winning elections.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EThe problem, as lefties like to say, is systemic. And the system must be dismantled.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EThe real lesson of Virginia is that conservatives do better with local control and lefties with national control. But, despite election victories, the momentum is with the nationalization of public schools, from the Department of Education to Bill Gates’ Common Core projects, to the Biden administration’s use of the FBI to intimidate local parents speaking out at board meetings.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EThe only way to reverse that momentum is to truly decentralize education by funding students, not systems, abandoning the public school model and replacing it with vouchers and subsidies for private schools that will allow parents to choose the education that fits their values.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003ECloward-Piven works both ways. The deliberate destruction of the system is also an overreach that allows conservatives to propose alternatives to a leftist system instead of propping it up.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EAnd yet every time the Left pulls out its Cloward-Piven plot, the GOP tries to prove that it can manage a declining system better than any of its leftist political opponents. It’s true, but it’s no accomplishment. When hijackers are trying to fly a plane into the World Trade Center, boasting that you can do a better job than them of keeping it level is a low bar that solves nothing.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003EIf Republicans want to start winning culture wars, instead of culture battles, they need to think like the Left and reinvent systems instead of competing on systemic competence.
