Good article. I recently wrote a post about planned economies also.

- blindspot

http://blindspotpolitics.wordpress.com/2012/07/13/can-praxeology-tweet/Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11368628.post-464518148708447672012-07-09T09:45:46.695-04:002012-07-09T09:45:46.695-04:00indeed and as more of the economy goes black marke...indeed and as more of the economy goes black market, tax revenues fall, corruption increases and the system becomes so unstable it collapses and is resurrected as a mafia stateDaniel Greenfieldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13575285186581875356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11368628.post-92195315653018109842012-07-09T07:48:26.514-04:002012-07-09T07:48:26.514-04:00Unregulated capitalism continued to provide for th...Unregulated capitalism continued to provide for the needs of the Soviet population, despite all attempts to regulate every aspect of an individual's life.Ex-Dissidenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03837109472357860889noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11368628.post-35481979102740786272012-07-09T07:46:13.830-04:002012-07-09T07:46:13.830-04:00And yet, reality stubbornly hangs on, even within...And yet, reality stubbornly hangs on, even within the black hole of the Soviet economy. People robbed of their rewards through their jobs, will pursue other rewarding ventures. After all, the need to feed one's family and to obtain desirable items doesn't disappear. So, folks went to private markets where they bought good quality food that could not be found in government stores. People traded for concert tickets, vacation trips, apartments, and just about anything you can imagine. Interesting take on "Omnipotent Government" and "Human Action." Of course, the empowering feature behind all these debt-makers is government force. Get the government out of the economy, and even government debt would vanish.Edward Clinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12160209827969614964noreply@blogger.com
