We have so much wealth and so little time for others that I do not see a great change in us as a nation unless something happens to humble us.

We all seem to be waiting on the edge of our chairs for a miracle to happen. There is no magic bullet that will get us out of our current situation. A major personal revision in our thoughts and actions as a people is the only way that we will find success, so I only see us digging ourselves into a deeper hole.

I work for Footnote.com. Even Begin and Sharon (considered by some the most right, before he was in power) destroyed settlements. Likud in power today is it much better than Kadima? The politicians lose all judgment when they are in power, staying is the main goal even if it means big compromise on the platform they have been elected (Sharon again)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11368628.post-65868245175018032082009-11-12T09:58:45.816-05:002009-11-12T09:58:45.816-05:00It's really up to Palin whether she can or can...It's really up to Palin whether she can or cannot. Right now she has a limited window in which she can prove that she can take on a leadership role and defeat the media's image of her.

The GOP needs to become the voice of the opposition, which means doing what the grass roots movement has been doing. And at the same time it needs to champion policies that will seriously reduce the size and influence of government over Americans through fiscal conservatism, fighting wasteful spending and eliminating much of what has been built up in D.C. since FDR's time.

Unless the GOP becomes a real alternative to Obama, winning over independent voters will become much more difficult.Daniel Greenfieldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13575285186581875356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11368628.post-58987199674135820622009-11-12T07:20:27.908-05:002009-11-12T07:20:27.908-05:00Excellent!Excellent!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11368628.post-74862983206088834622009-11-12T04:35:28.783-05:002009-11-12T04:35:28.783-05:00Sultan, Do you think Palin would be able to lead t...Sultan, Do you think Palin would be able to lead to a win for the GOP? so what do you propose that the Republicans should do then, I mean what's your opinion, if you were to advise the GOP what listing of priorities would you give them on how to change? Do you think that Obama will get another term? I fear that the Dems will get in for another terms, and to be honest, I cannot see how the GOP can save itself. If you do, please tell us. Thanks. Good article, agree with you. Why don't you don the mantle yourself:)RepublicansWakeupnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11368628.post-2552233746251941522009-11-11T22:07:58.890-05:002009-11-11T22:07:58.890-05:00BRAVO!
