This is what I e...Quite simply an amazing article.

This is what I end up reading when I *should* be studying for exams.

As a previous commenter stated, it would be interesting to see how things play out if an "inhospitable" environment were created for the Palestinians. Honestly, the whole Middle East just seems to me a rabid circus of savage barbarians.

And the Muslim attitudes towards Jews are (unsurprisingly) imported here to the West, including my country of Canada. I know of more than a few Muslims who'd like nothing more than the destruction of Israel and the Jews. Unfortunately Canadians are pretty liberal-minded, and while Prime Minister Harper (it seems) has strong support for Israel, it would be nice if calls for a two-state solution were completely repealed.

The only problem I see with not creating a Palestinian state is that you have a flood of Arabs within Israeli borders who - in the next generation - will likely be elected to political office even more - and will fight to make conditions inhospitable for Jews.

If I were to support the secession of an Arab Palestinian state, it would be to simply demonstrate for the world that even when you give them all the land they want, they're still savages. Because it would be more than likely that - even if they had their own national borders - they'd still never stop trying to kill Israelis.

However, my (short) experience of 20 years on this planet tells me that the left will still find some way to blame the Israelis. Where do all these pinkos come from?Marknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11368628.post-54593208623071114272010-12-15T14:36:42.185-05:002010-12-15T14:36:42.185-05:00Edgar: The reason the mainstream media perpetuates...Edgar: The reason the mainstream media perpetuates the lies and insanity of all of this is obvious--anti-Semitism.

Why so many average citizens don't do as much as they should to fight terrorism? People are all too quick to forget the atrocities of the past.

Thirty years from now I imagine there will be memorials to the victims of Islamic terrorism.

They'll say Never Again, but because it's already happened once. As if history doesn't repeat itself over and over again. Magical, childish mentality. Never again, it's all over.

As for Israel and Gaza--Israel is more than capable of getting the land back. It's almost as if Israelis are suffering from learned helplessness and hopelessness from all the atrocities that were never going to happen again.

There's a simple solution to dealing with these terrorists in the middle east. Provide an inhospitable environment. In the remake of "War of the Worlds" the aliens are defeated because they simply could not adapt to an inhospitable environment on earth.

It would be easy enough for Israel to cut off all services and "humanitarian" aide to Gaza. Make like so miserable for the Palestinians so that they have no choice but to change their ways in order to survive.

Adapt or perish. Sounds harsh but why not try it. It's better than all of these negotiations.

Muslims hold oil over our heads. We could easily use natural sources of energy--think of the electricity produced by hydropower from Niagara Falls. Scientists at the time thought Telsa's was insane and here I am typing with electricity provided from the mighty Niagara.

Then there's wind power.

Another great article, Daniel.

KeliataAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11368628.post-44406826564803427902010-12-15T12:34:16.428-05:002010-12-15T12:34:16.428-05:00"But when Hamas marched in, 'Hitler' ..."But when Hamas marched in, 'Hitler' and all the little Hitlers cut and ran. Israel had to save many of Abbas' little Hitlers, who talked big when it came to killing Jews, but couldn't stand and fight."
Do you know of Stella Awards? (on account of Stella who sued Macdonald for scalding herself with coffe and won 1 mill.)
Israel should receive this award for stupidity. Didn't Israel save Arafat when he was toast, brought him back, gave him weapons which he promptly used against us, and an Oslo accord which is becoming a whale in our tiny room? All these actions by the west are the consequences of Oslo.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11368628.post-57687575920353973032010-12-15T07:45:50.803-05:002010-12-15T07:45:50.803-05:00A brilliant analysis. It is difficult to understand why most of the world chooses not to see it this way (probably because the mainstream media still prints rubbish like Friedman rather than the Sultan).Mark Wrighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14634542433903164227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11368628.post-17569953912319550262010-12-15T07:43:07.430-05:002010-12-15T07:43:07.430-05:00Again in this blog you state the facts as they are...Again in this blog you state the facts as they are, but what are we going to do about this gradual Islamization of so many countries? What answer do we have? Through all the centuries we did not try to convert others, to the contrary we dissuade others that want to become Jews. The enormous benefit we Jews had for the world is only recognized by relatively few. In all the freedom fights of surpressed peoples we stood in the fore front only to be scourned at after they where liberated (the US afro americans included, with many who turned to Islam while that was the religion of those who kept black slaves till the mid twentieth century!) In short our numbers shall always fail us to stem the tide which means we have to find an other means of having the moral and ethical values of Judaism prevail against the complete lack thereof as shown in so many decisions made by political leaders around the world. I see as an only option the Jewish education of our children to be an answer by making them into strong believers (mind you not strictly make them into haredim) and messengers of what is in reality the only truth as G0d has shown us in the Thora.mindRidernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11368628.post-52472014029013157862010-12-15T07:20:39.626-05:002010-12-15T07:20:39.626-05:00I wish I could show all this information to some i...I wish I could show all this information to some imbecile, who claimed that "Brazil isn't targeted by terrorism, despite being supportive of Israel".

If someone is interested in the actual history of the province Palestine, not the imaginary fairytale spread by the usual channels, there's an article about it in Sam Hindu's Blog:
http://tinyurl.com/2u7a3lzHermitLionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01955642756387705257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11368628.post-34056318496925998912010-12-14T23:26:01.573-05:002010-12-14T23:26:01.573-05:00I believe it is based on birds of a feather who fl...I believe it is based on birds of a feather who flock together.
