Times defends torching Synagogues as 'Protests against Occupation"

"Thousands of Palestinians swarmed into the forsaken settlements and youths set fire to synagogues and other symbols of the hated occupation," the London Times said lyrically describing the scene as arab looters ravaged the remains of the ethnically cleansed Jewish towns.

When Baghdad was looted, the media treated it as a terrible crime. When a mosque somewhere is scribbled on, it's treated as a hate crime and an attack on our society and jail time is demanded. But burning Jewish Houses of Prayer is described as a legitimate way of protesting the 'occupation.'

How soon before the media begins to defend not merely the burning of synagogues in Gush Katif but the burning of synagogues in America and Europe as legitimate forms of protest?

  1. I recommend to one and all the book by Bob Kohn entitled:
"How the New York Times Distorts the News and Why it Can No Longer Be Trusted"
This book thoroughly exposes the journalistic fraud based on passing off biased opinion as factual news.

I'm just wondering.... Rosh HaShanah this year falls on Oct. 4, the same as the first day of Ramadan.
Of course, this means Yom Kippur and Sukkot and Simkhat Torah are also during Ramadan.

What do you suppose are the odds of a major attack on any of these days? This question has been eating at me, and I'm asking a few people around the web.

Just would like to hear your thoughts. Thanks.

I've heard a very interesting report about Zarqawi, he plans for attacks during Ramadan.
Zarqawi characterizes the attacks as a ‘fateful confrontation’ with the U.S. and Israel. Airports in Italy and the Netherlands are referenced as specific potential targets, and Italy is already on high alert for possible terrorist attacks. A Zarqawi operative named Abu Abdul Rahman al-Jazaeri is considered a key figure in the planned Italy attacks. He is believed to be in the country, but eluding authorities. Details of the operation came from intercepted communications between top al-Qaida leaders about two weeks ago.

‘I think that the plan for the next stage that was drawn up has reached you or is on its way to you,’ said Zarqawi's letter to bin Laden. ‘O God. Make the expedition of Osama proceed toward its goal ... We await your orders as to the next stage of the plan.’

Plans for attacks against Europe are being finalized in the Balkans, while preparations for attacks on Russia are being completed in Chechnya. Attack plans against the U.S. are being directed from the tri-border area in Latin America. Also, al-Qaida leaders have interpreted the devastation of the Gulf Coast by Hurricane Katrina as a sign that Allah is pleased with their plans…

So I think they are planning something to happen during Ramadan. Let's hope that our governments will protect its citizens.

  4. G-d often gives his enemies enough rope to hang themsselves with. He allows evil nations to fill up their cup so to speak so that he is then able to destroy them.
Such is prophecied for Ishmael, Ammon, Edom, Moab and all the enemies of Bnai Israel.
They are heathen people whose only intent in life is to steal, harm and destroy in one way or another as they have been cursed to do.
    Their end is in sight.
